MMAjunkie spoke to UFC bantamweight fighter Rani Yahya after his win over Luke Sanders at UFC Fight Night 135 last night. With the win, Yahya has now won three in a row, and he called out champion TJ Dillashaw after the fight. Below are some highlights from the interview.

Yahya on why he wants to face Dillashaw: “I want to fight against the very best in the division and become the champion. I want to fight Dillashaw and beat him. I have so many fights already, so many wins. Who’s been winning like me in this division? If I have to do another fight before I go for the title, give me the No. 1 contender.”

Yahya on what has changed: “I have the confidence. I have the confidence now. I want to go against the best.” … For a long time, I wasn’t being able to perform at my best. I was performing 50, 60 percent. … Every day I learn a new thing, new technique, new concept. I’m evolving way too much. It’s like I was reborn after I made those changes.”
