Scott Coker Is Proud of Brennan Ward After He Saved a Baby

Scott Coker is understandably proud of one of Bellator’s fighters after an act of heroism. Coker spoke with MMAjunkie reacting to the news that Brennan Ward saved a baby that was in the middle of a busy intersection. According to SportzEdge.com, Ward was in New London, Connecticut when he saw cars swerving around a baby carriage. He got out of his car and rescued the baby, pushing the carriage to a nearby fire station. Police arrived soon after and located the baby’s intoxicated about a half a mile away, arresting him.

“(Ward) saved a situation that could have been a really bad story,” Coker told the site. “…That’s an amazing story, and we’re proud of him.”

As for Ward, he said, “I think anybody would have done it. Obviously not the cars swerving around it, but most people would stop.”
