UFC on ESPN 18 Main Event Canceled Due to COVID-19, New Main Event Set

There’s been a last-minute change in the main event for UFC on ESPN 18 thanks to COVID-19. ESPN initially reported, and the UFC has confirmed, that the planned Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis main event has been pulled after Blaydes tested positive for the virus.

As a result of the change, the co-main event of Anthony Smith vs. Devin Clark has been elevated to the main event. The UFC is looking to reschedule the Blaydes vs. Lewis fight for December.

UFC on ESPN 18 takes place on Saturday and airs live on ESPN. We’ll have live coverage of the event, as always.
