Vitor Belfort Confirms His Final UFC Fight Is Against Nate Marquardt at UFC 212

It’s official: Vitor Belfort’s final UFC fight will be at UFC 212. Belfort took to Instagram to confirm that he will face Nate Marquardt at UFC 212 and that it will be his last for the UFC. MMAjunkie subsequently confirmed the news with the company.

Belfort first fought for the UFC in 1997 at UFC 12 and, but for two stints away (1999 to 2001 and 2004 to 2009) has fought regularly for the company ever since. UFC 212 takes place on June 3rd in Rio de Janeiro.

Comecei minha jornada há 20 anos, no UFC 12 e exatos 200 eventos depois no dia 3 de Junho, estarei fazendo minha última luta na organização no UFC 212 na minha cidade natal, Rio de Janeiro.
