2 Cold Scorpio Arrested After Stabbing Incident

TMZ reports that former WCW, ECW and WWE wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio was arrested earlier this month after a stabbing incident. He was arrested after a gas station fight on June 15 (at 3:40 AM at a Love’s Travel STop in Kansas City) but has claimed self-defense.

Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, told police that he was working as a security guard. He saw a man light a cigarette inside the building and confronted him. The man got upset and asked what he was going to do about it and Scorpio claims the man threatened him. The two went outside and the man attempted to fight. That’s when Scorpio claims he took a knife from his pocket and stabbed him in self-defense. The incident went on a little longer after that and he stabbed him a few more times.

When police arrived, they saw the man on the ground, bleeding from the head, chest, butt, legs and abdomen. He was taken to the hospital and was in and out of consciousness. Eventually he woke up and told police that Scorpio was the one who caused the incident. He claims that he did not light up inside the store, but may have forgotten to fully extinguish the cigarette.

Scorpio was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action. He bonded out and pleaded not guilty. He will have a hearing next month.
