411’s ECW on Sci-Fi Report 10.24.06
We begin with clips of RVD defeating Big Show last week.
Tazz and Styles welcome us to ECW.
RVD makes his way to the ring.
RVD: Last week, someone did the impossible, someone defeated the Big Show. Someone defeated the unstoppable monster, and ECW champion. That was everybody’s favorite, RVD. So the question is, when will I get my shot at the Big Show?
Paul E and Security make their way to the ring.
PAUL: I am sure you are aware that Show has been undefeated until last week. When he was pinned 1,2,3 by RVD. Being the father of ECW and a man of my word. I hold in my hand, a contract for your title shot. There is one small catch; you will have to retrieve the contract, tonight, in a ladder match. If you choose to climb a ladder, you may sign your name and choose any date that you like. There will be someone in your way, and that will be the Big Show. If Show wins, he can tear it up and you get nothing. You get your chance tonight in the main event Rob. I just realized you are the master of ladder matches, so this ladder match could get extreme.
Security attacks RVD! They beat him down with the nightsticks but RVD fights back with kicks and clears the ring.
Back from commercial as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
CM Punk vs. Matt Striker
Take down by Punk, to the mat and Striker fights out. To their feet, reversals and a neck vice by Striker. Roll out by Punk and a strike to Striker. Knees and kicks, am bar and into a hammerlock. Striker flips out on the ropes, and into the hammerlock. Reversals and Punk with the advantage. Striker goes to the ropes and wraps Punk’s arm and lays the boots to him. Punk with a takedown, knees to Striker. Rights by Striker and slams Punk to the steel post shoulder first. He works the arm off the post and then a rolling fujiwara arm bar. Punk rolls out, kicks to Striker and a running forearm. Clothesline to Striker, knees and an Irish whip and running knee. Bulldog by Punk. Punk up top…springboard clothesline. Slaps, spinning back fist and kick. Punk for the Uranage try, but Knox rushes the ring and that is a DQ!
Knox misses a kick and Punk connects with one, sending him to the floor. Knox leaves as Punk stands tall.
Winner: CM Punk @ 4:00 via DQ
We see highlights of RVD vs. Holly and the vicious back slice on Holly. And then highlights of the next week where Test attacked him.
Test vs. Holly is next!
Back from commercial as Test makes his way to the ring.
Test vs. Hardcore Holly
And we BRAWL at the bell! Rights by Holly, off the ropes and a back elbow to Test. He lays the boots to Test and then delivers rights. Chops and test fires up only to be taken down with more chops. Holly chokes him out, and breaks. Off the ropes and Test to the floor. Holly follows and attacks! They exchange rights on the floor and Holly is slammed into the steps and then the post. Back into the ring we go and corner elbows by Test. Boots to Holly and he is down. Irish whip and a clothesline by Holly. More boots to Test and then a leg drop. Holly covers for 1. Holly ties test up in the ropes and lays a beating on him. Holly chokes him now and Test finally escapes. He rolls to the floor and Holly follows. Rights by test and then Holly slams him off of the steps. Back in and a leg drop by Test as Holly reenters the ring. Boring chants now as they battle and Test tries to suplexes Holly back in, Holly fights and SUPLEXES TEST to the floor! We head to commercial @ 4:15.
Back from commercial @ 7:24 with Test applying a bear hug to Holly. Test has been working the back all break. Holly tries to battle out of the hold, elbows out and gets whipped to the corner and he collapses and Test covers for 2. Standing bear hug by Test now. Slams Holly to the corner and again. Holly works to escape, does and rights to Test. Off the ropes and a reversal is blown, off the ropes, boot by Holly and a clothesline to Test. The ref counts as they fight to their feet. Holly gets a back elbow to Test. Another and then a clothesline. Holly up top…clothesline to Test gets 2. Holly picks up Test, off the ropes, reversal and a powerslam by Test for 2. Boots to Holly, and Test goes up top…Holly crotches him and test falls to the mat. Holly pulls him center, and goes to the 2nd rope…leg drop connects and a cover for 2. Boot and a knee by test…Pump handle try, countered and Alabama slam try, Test has the ropes and Holly reverses it and kicks Test in the junk. Off the ropes, boot misses and Holly with rights. Eye poke by Test and he slams Holly into the steel post. Roll up with the tights and that is all.
Winner: Test @ 13:35 via pin
After the match Test grabs a chair and goes back in. He lays out Holly with a shot to the back. Another shot for good measure. Now a third shot! Holly’s back is bruised up.

Tazz and Styles run down the Cyber Sunday card.
Rebecca is with Sandman. He says Kane has already faced Umaga. Benoit is ok, but more interesting is him vs. Umaga. If you want to see a fight with blood, vote Sandman. He drinks and bleeds. He’s the Sandman and he approves this message. Wellness does not.
RVD makes his way to the ring.
Big Show now makes his way to the ring.
We head to a commercial before the match begins.

NON-TITLE: EXTREME RULES LADDER MATCH: RVD vs. The Big Show ©
If RVD wins, he gets his ECW title show whenever he wants it.
They have some conversation before they begin the match. RVD runs for a ladder and throws it in. He climbs in and Show tosses it to the floor. He chokes RVD but he fights back. 2nd rope and then top rope kicks to Show. Leg drop between the ropes and RVD gets a ladder again. Show up and head butts to RVD. Chops by Show and RVD is down. Show puts the ladder in the corner, grabs RVD and whips him into the ladder. Show tosses RVD to the floor and Show grabs the ladder and sets it up. Wait, he tries to knock the contract down with the ladder, but RVD is back and nails Show with a ladder. He nails Show in the head and he is down. Show is bleeding, again. That big poor bastard. RVD up top, tosses a ladder and Van-Damninator to Show. RVD lays the ladder on Show, off the ropes, rolling thunder connects. RVD grabs a ladder, sets it up and climbs. Show is up and pushes the ladder over, RVD hits the top rope and BOUNCES backwards. Show has a ladder, sets it in the corner again and slams RVD into it. Show lays the ladder on RVD and then steps on it! Show lays the ladder on the ropes, picks up RVD and slams him to the ladder again! Show lays the ladder in the corner, RVD with rights tries to battle back but gets laid out by a Show spear. Show grabs RVD and delivers big rights. Slam by Show on the ladder in the corner and Show goes for the Vader corner bomb…and misses. GOOZLE by Show…RVD fights out and rams the ladder to his gut. Show shoves him down, GOOZLE…CHOKESLAM by Show! He grabs the ladder, sets it up and climbs. RVD climbs as well…leaps onto Show and it was supposed to be a RANA to the floor, but RVD gets slammed to the floor and Show falls over the top. RVD in, climbs and grabs the contract for the win!

RVD celebrates.
I would imagine RVD cashes in his shot at Cyber Sunday.
