Lillian starts the show with the Star Spangled Banner.

Intro….more pyro then usual. JR and King welcome us, hyping WM. HHH/Flair vs. Booker/Goldust tonight. Plus, a “Rock Concert” tonight!

Austin comes out. Referee Chaz Robinson tells him that there is a match, and Austin gives him the finger. He starts talking, saying that Rock doesn’t just come down and Stunner and Rock Bottom him, and Austin wants to have a word with him. Test comes out, says that Bischoff sent him out, because of the match. All Test wants to do is kick some ass. Austin gives him a Stunner. Austin sits at the bell table, and Lance Storm runs out and goes to pin Test (who he was supposed to wrestle with Test). The ref goes in the start the match, but Austin pulls him out and starts counting the pinfall himself, but stops at 2, gives Storm the finger, then a stunner. Bischoff then comes out and says that he has a restraining order, and says that he has to leave right now or he will be arrested. A lot of cops go ringside to escort Austin away. Bischoff then pimps “The Rock Concert.” The Cops escorting Austin away, walks right by Rock, playing his guitar. Rock taunting Austin with “Jailhouse Rock”.

Trish Stratus & Jeff Hardy vs. Victoria & Steven Richards
Steven and Jeff go back and forth. Women tagged in, Victoria nails a swinging sidewalk slam for 2. Victoria goes up, but Trish nails the Stratusphere. Steven comes in, but Trish pushes off of him in the Stratusfaction for the win.
Winners – Jeff/Trish

Jeff and Trish look like they are going to make out, but Jazz comes out and takes out Trish, and Steven attacks Jeff. Jazz nails Victoria too.

Bischoff on the phone. Coach comes in and tells him the security wants to see him.

Goldust looking at Torrie’s Playboy. Booker comes in and makes sure that Goldust is ready for tonight. Goldust is stuttering up a storm tonight.

Bischoff and Coach get to security. Austin is waiting outside. Bischoff tells Coach to get out there and tell Austin that he will make his life a living hell if he doesn’t leave, or else Coach is fired.

ATT Call of the Night: Scott Steiner catching Stacy last week.

Austin is outside, there is now a camera out there.

Scott Steiner vs. Christian
BPP clearly overpowers Christian. BPP goes to snake eyes, but Christian slips out and nails a reverse DDT. Christian rings BPP’s neck on the top rope, and goes to the top. BPP gets up there, puts Christian on his back and nails a Samoan Drop off the 2nd rope for the win. JR says that BPP is going to WM, but doesn’t say who against.
Winner – BPP

Coach tells Austin Bischoff’s message and leaves.

WM Moment: HBK defeating Hitman in the Iron Man Match.

Chief Morley announces that he must strip Regal/Storm of the Tag Titles, due to Regal’s sickness. But, Bischoff has given Morley the power to announce new Champs, and declares Lance Storm and Himself the new Tag Team Champions. Kane and RVD enter. They want a title match at WM. They make a #1 Contendership match tonight with the Dudz.

Austin still outside.

Triple H & Ric Flair vs. Booker T & Goldust
Flair and GD start. GD backs Flair in the corner and slugs away. Flair goes for a baaaaaaaack body drop. Flair backs GD in the corner, HHH in, GD runs to Booker. Booker and HHH go back and forth, with HHH selling like he can’t believe Booker is getting any offense. Flair in, chops away on Book in the corner. Booker switches it up, sidewalk slams Flair for 2. Flair with a thumb to the eye of Book, HHH in. HHH goes to work on Booker, tosses him to the outside, and Flair gets a cheap shot in.

Commercials.

Flair has Booker in a Figure 4 as we come back from commercials. Booker turns it over, and Flair lets go. Flair and Book chop at each other, GD in. Flair with another baaaaaaaaaack body drop. HHH in, GD hits a butt bump. GD is on fire, atomic drop on both men, then a double clothesline. HHH and GD both hit the ropes, GD goes for a flying forearm, but HHH ducks and GD slips all the way outside. HHH/Flair double team on GD. GD fires away on HHH, HHH ducks a punch and nails a neckbreaker. Flair in. They go toe to toe, GD gets the tag, but Referee Nick Patrick didn’t see it. HHH in, GD ducks a clothesline and tags in Booker. Booker goes to town on HHH. Flying leg, then a spin heel kick on Flair. Booker and HHH fight outside, Booker drives HHH’s head in the ringsteps, and HHH is busted open. Flair and GD fighting outside. Flair in, Booker Scissor kicks him. HHH grabs Book, goes for a Pedigree, but Booker fights out, slingshots HHH in the ringpost, then hits the Scissors Kick for the win!

Flair talking up HHH, saying that it was a fluke. Flair tells him that he is the Champ, and no one is better then him. HHH says that nobody informed Booker of that.

Jericho comes out. He calls out HBK face to face to speak with him. HBK, of course, answers. Jericho says that the tribute to HBK last week got him thinking. Jericho says that the reason why he got started in the business is to be just like Shawn Michaels. He showed comparisons on the Tron of them two early in their career. Jericho says that he was called the next Shawn Michaels, but he doesn’t want to be the next Shawn Michaels, he wants to be the first Chris Jericho. He says that he is better then HBK, and wants to prove it. Jericho slaps HBK, HBK slaps him back and they stare each other down, laughing.

Rock comes into Bischoff’s Office, and wants Bischoff to go out and put speakers outside so that Austin can hear “The Rock Concert.”

RVD & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz – #1 Contendership
All 4 duke it out to start. Bubba and Kane start. Double teaming on Kane. D’Von in, Kane overpowers him, Kane tags in RVD, RVD slingshots over the top rope into a leg drop on D’Von. RVD with a hurracanranna, then a kick to the side of D’Vons head. RVD nails the Rolling Thunder for 2. D’Von sends RVD to the corner, RVD jump up and holds on, but D’Von pulls him off in a neckbreaker. Bubba in, elbows on RVD for 2. Both men tag, Kane goes to work on D’Von. Powerslam on D’Von for 2. Bubba takes out RVD and double teams Kane. Flapjack on Kane, RVD leaps in and straight kicks D’Von. Morley comes out and distracts the ref. Storm gets in the ring and goes to kick RVD, but nails D’Von. Storm and Bubba face off, and Kane and RVD knock them out of the ring. Kane choke slams D’Von, RVD nails the 5*.
Winners – RVD/Kane

People outside start setting up the speakers. Austin finds out what is going on, and gets on the phone.

Commercials.

The Rock comes out for his “The Rock Concert.” Rock rags on Sacramento for a bit, then sings a song about leaving Sacramento. He then sings “Hound Dog” but calls Austin a Red Neck. Then sings a Willie Nelson song, but changes the words to beating Stone Cold. An ambulance flies by Austin’s truck and into the building, Austin speeds by in his truck. Rock calls out the Police. The truck pulls in, and Hurricane leaps out. Rock tells the cops to take him away. Rock starts singing again, but Austin gets out of the bed of the truck, with a black cover on him. Austin gets in the ring and beats up Rock. He then takes Rock’s guitar signed by Willie Nelson, and steps on it.

Vince comes out, and shows us the footage from last weeks Smackdown.

Hogan and Mean Gene talking. Hogan says that if he loses he will hang up his tights. There is no way he will let Hulkamania die. He calls out Vince to get the contract signing done. Vince walks through the hallway, tells the people not to miss what happens. Vince comes out from behind and drills Hogan with a chair, and makes Hogan sign the contract with his own blood.

Back to McMahon. He says that he will end Hogan’s career.

Awesome, my first Kurt Angle recap in almost a year!

Kurt & Eric Angle demanding an apology from Brock Lesnar. Steph comes out and make the Brock/Angle match with No Championship Advantage. If Kurt gets DQed or Counted Out, he still loses the belt. Steph says that he owes it to the people to give the best WM match they have ever seen. Brock comes out, Kurt shoves Eric into him. Eric low blows Brock, and Kurt drives a crutch in Brock’s throat. Kurt sets up a chair in the ring, and Angle Slams Brock through it. Kurt then wrenches back Brock’s neck, driving his knee into Brock’s ribs.

JR and King come back, and hype up WM some more.
