June 22, 2007 | Posted by Brad Borchardt

Hello and welcome to the Smackdown report and here I, Brad Borchardt bring you the Smackdown goodness yet again. I’m pissed even more this week as Paul London and Brian Kendrick got shifted over to RAW. Enough of that, and some of this:

1. The winner of each match will receive two points unless it is by count out or DQ in which they will receive one point.
2. The winner of a title match will receive an additional point for retaining and two additional points for winning a belt.
3. The winner of the main event will get an additional point.
4. The winner of a specialty match will get an additional point.
5. In a tag team match, a wrestler on the winning team that does not pick up the win will get one point. If the match ends in a DQ or a DRAW, both members of the winning team will get one point.
6. If the match ends in a draw, all wresters involved will get half a point for participating.
7. If it is an elimination match, each elimination is worth one point.
8. If the match is for example, a Best Two Out of Three Falls Match or an Iron Man Match, each fall is worth one point

We kick the show off tonight with Edge coming to the ring for the Cutting Edge. With a heavy heart, he welcomes everyone to the Cutting Edge. It was just two weeks ago, he was the last man to interview Mr. McMahon. Even though McMahon put him in a match with Batista at Vengeance, there were no hard feelings and questions who killed Mr. McMahon. He then brings out Torrie Wilson as tonight’s guest on the Cutting Edge. Edge tells Torrie that when people look at her, they see a beautiful diva and a two time playboy cover girl, but maybe she did something to McMahon. He accuses her of it because of McMahon putting her in a match against Carlito and brings up her seducing Vince when she debuted in the WWE. MVP interrupts the accusing. MVP tells Edge he can’t call people liars without proof. Torrie thanks MVP but MVP says she needs to take a lie detector test and accuses her himself until Ric Flair comes out and strikes both Edge and MVP until the double team takes him down. Batista runs out and makes the save and Edge and MVP scatter.
