Sandow and Big E lock up and Sandow takes control. Big E throws him off and takes over with a big judo type throw and a headlock takeover. Sandow gets a leg scissors and Big E pops out. He goes for a scoop slam but Sandow spins out and lands behind him. Big E counters THAT and throws Sandow into the corner and hits a big spear in the corner. It’s only a two count. He throws a few strikes and gets Sandow near the ropes but Sandow takes over. He goes for a suplex but can’t get it and Big E hits one instead. He covers and it’s only a two. Big E fights Sandow into the corner and hits a few body blows. He tosses him out of the corner and Sandow goes halfway across the ring. He throws a few strikes but Sandow fights back. He throws a line, Big E ducks, and he catches Sandow and hits three big backbreakers in a row. He goes for the cover but only gets a 2. Big E whips Sandow into the corner and runs in but Sandow goes low and Big E trips over him and goes head first into the second turnbuckle. Big E powders out and Sandow follows him. He throws him back into the ring and begins laying the boots to Big E. He makes a cover and only gets a 2. Sandow locks on a grounded headlock.

COMMERCIAL BREAK! DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME!

We come back and Sandow’s in a cover and only gets a two. He continues to lay down strikes ahnd then gets up to his feet and hits a big old standing elbow drop. He then begins laying in punches and once again locks in that rear chinlock. Big E fights to his feet. He rams Sandow into the corner. He backs up and runs again but Sandow sidesteps and again Big E goes into the second turnbuckle. Sandow keeps up the beating on Big E in the corner. He drops another elbow and goes for another cover but again it’s only a 2. Sandow hits the ropes and runs at Big E but Big E catches him for the Big Ending. Sandow slips out and hits a sit out reverse x factor. It’s only a 2. Sandow then catches Big E with a spinning neckbreaker and AGAIN it’s only a 2! Sandow gets Big E into the corner again and starts beating on him. He runs at him in the corner but Big E comes out with a huge line! Straps are down! Big Ending! 1! 2! 3!

OFFICIAL RESULT: Big E @ 8:00 via pinfall (Big Ending)
RATING: **½
Thoughts: This was a nice little match. I find it odd that two weeks in a row now, Big E has been on Superstars when he’s got this IC Title tournament going on. It was a good showcase though and Sandow looked strong. I’d like to see him win eventually though. I do love that man and I really thought he was poised for something great after the Cena match.

Lawler interviews Big E after the match and says that was a big win. He asks him about Big E’s thoughts on the remaining superstars in the tournament. He wants to know if Big E has anyone he wants to face. Big E says he has people lining up around the block but he wants the best of the best. There’s an old saying that iron sharpens iron and to be the best he has to beat the best. He says at Extreme Rules he will walk in IC champion and walk out IC champion. He holds up the belt and his music hits.

Kofi Kingston vs. Titus O’Neil

The two lock up in the middle of the ring and Titus powers Kofi into the corner. The ref makes them break and Kofi comes charging out. He ducks a line and then ducks a boot and hits a dropkick to Titus. Kofi goes for a monkey flip but Titus shoves him off and hits a big boot. He picks Kofi up and just chops him right in the chest. Titus whips Kofi into the corner and begins laying the boots to Kofi. Titus gets a hold on Kofi’s left arm and begins working it over but Kofi counters with a jaw breaker. He goes to slide under Titus’ legs but Titus deadlifts him off the ground and just tosses him. That gets a 2 count so Titus begins to punch Kofi in the head. He hits a big short arm clothesline and Kofi hits hard. We get a few dog barks for our troubles. I love the dog barks. LOVE THEM. Titus keeps Kofi in the corner for a few chops but Kofi ducks and gets some chops of his own. Titus takes a few before shoving Kofi out of the corner and beating on him. He picks Kofi up and gives him a backbreaker, followed by a toss, followed by a leg drop. He only gets a 2 count. Titus gets Kofi in a reverse chinlock. He pulls Kofi to his feet and then slams him back down to the mat. Titus goes for another leg drop but Kofi moves out of the way. Both men get to their feet. Titus goes to charge Kofi but Kofi moves and Titus goes tumbling out of the ring. Kofi gets to his feet in the ring and as Titus gets back in he hits a dropkick. Kofi hits a few more kicks and then a springboard crossbody. Only a 2! Kofi goes for a running kick but misses. He runs back but Titus catches him with a scoop slam. Titus lifts Kofi up and goes for some sort of fireman’s lift but Kofi catches him in a sunset flip. Only a 2! Back to his feet! TROUBLE IN PARADISE! THAT’S IT!

OFFICIAL RESULT: Kofi Kingston @ 5:00 via pin fall (Trouble in Paradise)
RATING: **
Thoughts: These past two weeks have really started to sell me on Titus O’Neil. I truly believe that if they used him, he could have a future. He’s got the size, the look, and the move set. At this point, it’s entirely up to WWE to pull the trigger. I enjoyed this match and Titus looked super strong for the second week in a row.
