AAA to Crown New Latin American Champion via Fatal Four-Way at Triplemania 34; Dr. Wagner Jr. Secures His Spot On Tonight’s Show

AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio revealed the path to crowning the new Latin American Champion on tonight’s show.
As noted previously, El Hijo del Vikingo’s knee injury led to the Latin American Championship being officially vacated last Saturday.
On tonight’s show, Mysterio announced that over the course of the next few weeks, a set of qualifying matches will take place, with the winners earning their spots in the Fatal Four-Way match at AAA Triplemania 34. The two-night event will take place on September 11 and 13 in Las Vegas and Mexico City, respectively.
Later in the show, former champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Abismo Negro and Texano Jr. in a Triple Threat match to book his spot in the upcoming four-way match.
