AAA Verano de Escándalo to be Three-Week TV Special; Rey Mysterio Announces Three Title Matches

AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio made major announcements related to Verano de Escándalo on tonight’s AAA show.

AAA Verano de Escãndalo is set to emanate from Arena San Marcos, starting July 25. On tonight’s show, Mysterio announced that it would span across three weeks.

Mysterio also announced some high-stakes matches for the three-week television special. He revealed that Mini Vikingo, who defeated Dragon Lee and Jack Cartwheel in a Triple Threat Match on tonight’s show, will challenge Rey Fenix for the World Cruiserweight Championship at Verano de Escándalo.

Additionally, Flammer will defend the Reina de Reinas Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Lady Shani and La Catalina.

Rey also announced a Mixed World Tag Team Championship number-one contender’s match, with La Hidera teaming up with Laredo Kid to take on Joaquin Wilde and Faby Apache next Saturday. The winner will face Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana for the title at the three-week television special.
