Aalyah Mysterio Reportedly Begins Training at WWE Performance Center, Joins Internal Roster

PWInsider reports that Aalyah Gutierrez, aka Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, has officially begun her WWE journey and started training at the WWE Performance Center. As previously noted, Rey Mysterio revealed that his daughter started wrestling training a while ago.

Additionally, PWInsider reports that Aalyah is also now part of WWE’s internal roster, being listed under her real name and not using the “Mysterio” surname, notably used by her father and older brother, WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio.

Aalyah has appeared on WWE programming in the past. She previously had an on-air storyline during the Mysterio family’s feud with the Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins. At one point, she fell for Rollins’ acolyte, Buddy Murphy (aka Buddy Matthews), kissing him on-air on WWE SmackDown in October 2020. She also appeared during her father and brother’s feud, culminating in their match at WrestleMania 39.
