AEW Announces Dedication for Tonight’s Dynamite to the Late Ted Turner

Ahead of tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, AEW announced that tonight’s show will be dedicated to the late Ted Turner, who passed away earlier today. The former WCW owner and media mogul was 87 years old.

AEW’s statement reads, “AEW mourns the loss of Ted Turner and sends our condolences. A pioneer of TV and founder of TBS & TNT, Turner championed pro wrestling on his networks since the 1970’s. AEW proudly continues that tradition, and we dedicate Wednesday Night Dynamite tonight on TBS to his memory.”

Of course, AEW Dynamite airs on Turner Broadcasting System, which was founded by Turner. AEW Collision airs on TNT (aka Turner Network Television), which was founded by Turner in 1988.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite is being held at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina. It will air live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm ET. It will also be simulcast on HBO Max. Here’s tonight’s lineup:

* AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin vs. Kevin Knight
* AEW Continental Title Eliminator: Jon Moxley vs. Juice Robinson
* Double Jeopardy Match: Dax Harwood vs. Orange Cassidy.
* Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander vs. Mina Shirakawa & Harley Cameron.
