AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT both saw their numbers rise going head to head on Wednesday, with Dynamite hitting a two-year high in the ratings. The Blood & Guts episode of AEW Dynamite drew a 0.24 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 792,000 viewers, according to Dave Meltzer.

Those numbers are up 71.4% and 27.7% respectively from the previous week’s 0.14 demo rating and audience of 620,000. The demo rating was the best since the August 21st, 2024 episode also had a 0.24, while the total audience was the highest since the September 30th episode for PAC’s tribute had 899,000.

AEW Dynamite was opposite WWE NXT this week, which aired on Wednesday with CM Punk competing for the NXT Championship against Grayson Waller and appearances by John Cena and Cody Rhodes. WWE NXT did a 0.13 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 552,000 viewers, up 44.4% and 6.2% from the previous week’s 0.09 and 520,000 viewers.

Neither show’s numbers include their streaming numbers, as per usual. As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings makes ratings difficult to compare to pre-change weeks.

That said, AEW Dynamite is averaging a 0.123 demo rating and 660,000 viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.150 and 596,000 for the same time period in 2025.

Meanwhile, WWE NXT is averaging a 0.093 demo rating and 616,000 viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.150 and 687,000 for the same time period in 2025.
