The shocking team of Boom & Doom (Big Boom! AJ and QT Marshall) won a big team team match at today’s AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl ahead of AEW Full Gear 2025, beating Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero). Manager Don Callis and RPG Vice attempted to cheat to win, but to no avail.

Former WWE Champion Paul Wight (aka Big Show) joined the announcers desk for the match as well. He also got involved during the match, helping Big Justice after Trent Beretta knocked the boy during the match. He also laid a right into Beretta when he attempted to attack Big Justice again leading to the finish.

Big Justice event got involved during the match, stopping Romero from using a cast as a foreign object and hit the wrestler with a Diamond Cutter. Boom and Doom then hit their opponent with a Powerbomb and Blockbuster combination to score the pinfall victory.

Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall have come a long way, considering they were opponents in AJ’s AEW debut just one year ago at AEW Full Gear 2024 – Zero Hour. AJ won the match in November of last year. Now, they are a tag team and won their first match as a team at Full Gear.
