AJ Styles Reveals How Gallows and Anderson Annoyed Him on Road Trips

When Luke/Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson showed up on WWE Raw for the AJ Styles tribute, they hadn’t seen Styles in about a year, since they left WWE. The WWE-dubbed “Original Club” were still fast friends, though Anderson was genuinely surprised his retirement was for real.
Since then, the three appeared together on Talk’N Shop Live, along with Frankie Kazarian. It allowed for audience questions that pushed AJ Styles about comments he had made about his teammates driving him crazy. The three frequently traveled together when they were all on the roster.
This forced Styles to clarify. “Listen, on on those long trips, here’s the reason,” he said. “They didn’t drive me crazy. It was just they kept talking about the same thing over and over and over and over. And then I’d wake up an hour, maybe two hours later, and pull my headphones off and yep, it’s still going. Put them back in. And so there was sometimes I’d be like, ‘All right, that’s enough.’ And I just let them do their thing.”
Gallows admitted that one of the things they kept doing in those days was voices and impersonations. Considering his strong, distinctive accent, it seems likely Styles might have been imitated occasionally along the way.
