AJPW has announced the tragic passing of Taishin Nagao at the age of 21. The Japanese company announced on Sunday that Nagao passed today after having been hit by a tour bus back back in late May.
It was reported in June that Nagao suffered abdominal compression that caused him to go into traumatic shock and was being treated in the hospital’s emergency intensive care unit. AJPW’s announcement on Sunday noted that he passed at the hospital and that his body has been handed over to the police, with an investigation is underway.
The announcement notes, “We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone for the support and encouragement they have shown to Nagao up until now, and we would like to inform you of this.”
On behalf of 411, our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Taishin Nagao.
