Alba Fyre Makes First Post-WWE Appearance At Pro Wrestling EVE Event

The former Alba Fyre is officially back on the independent scene, making her surprise return at Pro Wrestling EVE’s show on Friday. Fyre appeared at Pro Wrestling Eve 150 in London on Friday and answereds Molly Spartan’s open challenge under her original ring name of Kay Lee Ray. She picked up the win over Spartan in the match with a Swanton Bomb.

According to F4W Online, Abi Cartwright initially came down as “Abi Fyre” to tease answering the challenge before Kay Lee Ray came out. Ray is a former EVE Champion, having held the title for 113 days from March to June of 2019. The commentary team referenced Ray’s previous stature in the promotion.

Ray was let go from WWE on April 24th in the post-WrestleMania round of cuts. She was a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and NXT UK Women’s Champion during her time with WWE as Alba Fyre, and was a member of the Green Regime with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven on the main roster.
