Alex Windsor Beats Syuri, Wins NJPW STRONG Women’s Title at Today’s Pro Wrestling EVE Wrestle Queendom 8

Just call her the belt collector, as AEW star Alex Windsor captured another major title at today’s Pro Wrestling EVE Wrestle Queendom 8 show. Windsor defeated Syuri to win the belt at the event.

Wrestle Queendom 8 was held at The Indigo at the O2 in London, England and was streamed live on YouTube for members and WatchProWrestlingEVE.com. Windsor The finish saw Windsor block a kick and follow up with a number of lariats. She beat Syuri with the Made in Japan to pick up the win.

Alex Windsor ends Syuri’s title reign at 63 days. She won the title from Saya Kamitani in a Winner Takes All match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 at the Tokyo Dome earlier this year.

Windsor previously beat Mercedes Mone to win the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship at AEW Collision Holiday Bash in December. Now, she has another big title in her possession.

Windsor has been on an absolute hot streak as of late. Her newly formed tag team with Jamie Hayter, the Brawling Birds, is currently undefeated in AEW. They defeated former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) on last week’s AEW Dynamite, squashing the team in under two minutes.

Also, two days ago, she teamed up with AZM to beat Safire Reed and Syuri at Pro Wrestling EVE 145: Women Behaving Badly. Now, she’s just won the first NJPW title in her in-ring career.
