Aliyah’s final WWE match was in September of 2022, and she recently reflected on the bout. The former WWE star lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Raquel Rodriguez to Damage CTRL in the match, during which she suffered a rib and shoulder injury and was out of action until her release a year later. She spoke about the match on the Johnny I Pro Show and you can see highlights below (per Fightful):

On the match itself: “Oh my goodness, it was my favorite favorite favorite favorite thing I got to do there. Organically, the crowd loved us.”

ON her entrance for the match: “That was all on the fly. That’s the thing, when we went out there, it was just magic, you know? I just came out there and I was having a ball with my muscle. She was the muscle, I was the little pipsqueak and together, we were just the vibes and the ones that know, know. The ones that get it, get it. The ones that don’t, guess what? You never fucking will so bye bye.”

On getting injured in the bout: “The level of disassociation, I was blown away, I was like woah, woah, woah, we’ve done it with this one, you know? I was pushing through and you could really see the emotions and everything and I’m really proud of that match.”
