Andrade El Idolo punched his ticket to AEW All In: London at AEW Grand Slam Mexico before MJF returned to attack him. Wednesday night’s show saw El Idolo defeat Tomasso Ciampa and Komander in order to earn the #1 spot in the Gauntlet Match, which will crown a new #1 contender for the AEW World Championship. The 11 minute match saw Idolo pick up the win after catching Komander out of a springboard moonsault and hitting a twisting DDT for the win.

After the match, El Idolo put on the Dynamite Diamond Ring and cut a promo talking about his win and plans to win the Casino Gauntlet match at All In. MJF’s music played and Andrade waited for him to arrive, but MJF snuck up behind him and took him out. He took the ring back and beat Andrade down, leaving him bloodied, and then cut a promo ranting about how Kenny Omega stole his AEW All In main event match against Will Ospreay. But he said he doesn’t care because he always gets what he wants. He said he will be part of the Casino Gauntlet qualifier next week on Dynamite for the #2 spot, dog walk Andrade at All In, get the contract and get his title back. He then said the only championship that should be recognized is the “Triple B,” and that he’s the only champion who should be recognized and he will remind the world after All In that he’s the one true champion.
