Andre Chase Announces WWE Release

Andre Chase is the latest WWE talent to announce that he has departed the company amid the roster cuts taking place today. Chase posted a video to Twitter announcing that he was released from his WWE contract.
Chase noted, “I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your support. Thank you for everybody who threw up the ‘U’ at the shows. Whether you bought my T-shirt, bought my action figure, played with me on WWE 2K, just know that you truly helped make something out of nothing. Because when I signed with WWE, on the first day it was made abundantly clear that I was never going to be on television, I was never meant to be a superstar. I was just here to pass on my knowledge to a younger generation.”
He continued, “But then something changed. And it was because of your support. It was because of the connection we had, suddenly I had whole arenas chanting ‘Chase U,’ and spelling ‘Chase U.’ And I’m forever grateful for everybody who helped me get to that point.”
Chase joined WWE in 2021 and became the leader of the Chase University stable in NXT. Following the dissolution of Chase U in April of 2025, he was used sparingly and served as a mentor to Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon in a cropped down version of Chase U. His last WWE match was on the January 27th episode of NXT.
Chase joins Bo Dallas, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross, Zoey Stark, and Alba Fyre as confirmed WWE departures on Friday.
One last TEACHABLE MOMENT‼️
I couldn’t have done it without U 🙌🏼
