Aron Stevens on How He Reacted to His Failed MITB Cash-In Against John Cena

– During a recent interview with The Ten Count’s Steve Fall for Wrestling News.co, former WWE Superstar Aron Stevens (aka Damien Sandow) discussed his failed Money in the Bank briefcase cash-in against John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship on the October 28, 2013 edition of Raw. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Aron Stevens on if there was talk of him cashing in to win the title: “It was said to me, but there are no promises. There are no guarantees.”
On how he felt about the decision: “How would you want me to feel? It’s one of those things where it is what it is. And you know what? You can dwell on the past, which, you know, that got to me a little bit. Or you can go forward. Behind the scenes? Yeah, it can get to me. But as a performer, I go out there; I don’t care what I did. I may not like the script I’m handed, but I can weave that straw into gold.”
