Asuka Shoots Down Speculation That She’s Left WWE

Asuka says that despite speculation to the contrary, she has not exited WWE, shooting down the notion on social media. The former WWE Women’s Champion posted to Twitter to respond to a fan who questioned a report that she had “officially said her goodbye to the WWE.”

The fan asked in Japanese:

“There are people posting as if Asuka-san has left WWE, but that’s a lie, right? She’s just taking a break right now, right?”

She replied:

“I haven’t left the team. I haven’t quit.”

Asuka hasn’t been seen in WWE since the Raw after Backlash, when she said farewell to IYO SKY. She had said in a vlog in late May that she was “still officially with WWE. So there’s a chance I might just pop up in front of you when you least expect it.”

No word as of now regarding when we may next see Asuka on WWE TV.
