Athena Reveals She Suffered Asthma Attack Mid-Match at ROH Death Before Dishonor

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena has revealed she suffered an asthma attack during her match at Death Before Dishonor 2026.

As noted, The Forever Champion retained her gold against Hazuki at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia last night.

Earlier today, Athena took to social media to respond to a fan clip from the match and revealed that she had an asthma attack during the bout. She thanked the AEW and ROH staff for their swift response.

Athena wrote, “Yeah, so [I] had an asthma attack mid-match…glad my minions had my back!!! A major thank you to @aew [and] @ringofhonor staff for the quick response… keeping the #ForeverROHChamp in peak condition.”
