Backstage Note on Carmelo Hayes Joining 946 on WWE Raw

As previously reported, former WWE United States Champion Carmelo Hayes shockingly joined the 946 last night on WWE Raw. False Finish has more details on the creative decision.

According to the report, Royce Keys asked to make Hayes a member of the stable. Hayes’ recent absence was a way to continue building up the story until creative was ready to bring him back.

Hayes had not appeared on WWE TV in about two months. Also, he blacked out his profile photo on his X account, leading to many fans questioning his WWE status.

During Raw, Hayes interfered during the main event tag team bout featuring Royce Keys and OTM versus Sikoa and The Usos and was wearing a mask. When Sikoa was getting ready to hit Keys with a Samoan Spike, Hayes attacked Sikoa with a tire iron before removing his mask.

After the match, Carmelo Hayes left with his new stable, as The Usos and Sikoa were laid out.

False Finish has learned that Royce Keys asked WWE to bring Carmelo Hayes to 946.
