Backstage Notes On Ava’s WWE Exit, Deleting Her Twitter Account

Ava announced her exit from WWE late last week, and a new report has some new details on her exit and shutting down her Twitter account. As noted, the NXT General Manager announced last Friday that she had chosen not to renew her contract with WWE. Ava had completed her obligations with last week’s episode of NXT.
The WON has confirmed previous reporting that the decision to leave was 100% Ava’s, as opposed to WWE, and that she was offered a new deal with a raise that she turned down. The outlet notes that WWE had “no thoughts” of moving her to the main roster, as they are happy with the work Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are doing as General Managers of Raw and SmackDown. The decision is said to have come suddenly, and WWE didn’t have any storyline related to it, simply announcing on Tuesday’s show that Robert Stone is the interim GM.
After Ava’s exit, she posted to Twitter to write:
“And now that I can say this with my full chest, [f**k] ice and that entire administration.”
She deleted her account soon after. The site reports that the account deletion was her decision and not WWE’s. Like all talent, Ava had ownership of the account and could have changed the name to something different post-WWE.
The WON reiterates that while Ana’s girlfriend, Tatyanna Dumas, was recently released by WWE, there is no indication that Dumas’ release had anything to do with Ava’s decision to exit.
