Bayley made her AAA Lucha Libre debut on Saturday, and she commented on how special it was for her to appear in the company in a post-show video. As noted, the WWE star made her first appearance in the promotion at AAA Rey de Reyes when she answered Lady Flammer’s open challenge for the Reina de Reinas Champion.

Bayley didn’t get the win, but she spoke in a post-match video posted by AAA to Twitter about how special it was for her. She noted that she has been trying to show up in AAA since WWE acquired the company and hyped her match with AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on tonight’s Raw. You can see the highlights below:

On Making Her AAA Debut:

“I feel so honored to be in AAA. As soon as I found out about the partnership, I was texting people, ‘How can I get there? How can I be a part of this?’ So I — it took a while, but I am so grateful to finally be here. I’m so grateful to be introduced in the way that I was, being a surprise opponent. I think that just made it so special for me and for the fans to get excited.

“I am overwhelmed with the love. I’m emotional thinking about it. To me, that’s what I’m gonna think about tonight. You know, that’s what I’m gonna take home with me. I didn’t walk away with the championship, but you know what? I got another title shot on Monday against AJ Lee. So maybe I can walk away with that one, but for right now I’m just so honored to be here at AAA and in Mexico in front of these fans.”

On Her Message To Her Fans In Mexico:

“Thank you for everything, please stay by me, stay by my side. We will be strong together, we won’t stop fighting until we get to the top where we belong. I love you Mexico, I love you my fans. Thank you so much.”
