Update On Bianca Belair’s WWE Return Amid Injury-Related Hiatus

WWE Superstar Bianca Belair has been away from in-ring competition since WrestleMania 41. The EST of WWE battled IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship in a Triple Threat Match in the Night Two opener.
While the match proved to be an instant classic, Bianca suffered multiple broken fingers during the bout, leading to her taking a step back from in-ring competition.
Veteran journalist Dave Meltzer commented on Bianca’s return status on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Meltzer stated that there is no return date set for the SmackDown Superstar’s return to in-ring action. The veteran journalist speculated that Bianca’s injury could be “far worse” than previously imagined.
While Bianca hasn’t wrestled since WrestleMania 41, she has made sporadic appearances on WWE television. The former world champion was a special guest referee for the No Holds Barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at the Evolution Premium Live Event earlier this year.
Amid Bianca’s absence, her former tag team partner Jade Cargill has turned heel. The Storm will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event. Should Jade win the title, it will be interesting to see if Bianca Belair goes after Cargill and the WWE Women’s Championship upon her return.
For now, though, 411Mania wishes The EST of WWE a speedy return to the ring.
