Bishop Dyer Reveals He Texted CM Punk & Finn Balor About Satoshi Kojima Matchup

Former WWE Superstar Bishop Dyer landed a dream matchup as he will face Satoshi Kojima later this weekend at MLW Slaughterhouse. Speaking to So Cal Val for WrestlingNews.co, Dyer revealed that shared his excitement with CM Punk and Finn Balor, texting them about the matchup.

Bishop Dyer said on facing Satoshi Kojima (via Fightful), “I immediately text Finn Balor, because I know he’s been in the ring with Kojima. And I was like, ‘Dude, check this out.’ I text CM Punk, ‘Check out who I’m going to be wrestling in California with MLW.'” He continued, “Like, it was this super surreal excitement. The reason I love wrestling is, I’m a fan of it. So you look at that and it’s like, how can you not be a fan of him and what he’s done?”

Dyer faces Kojima in the Opera Cup Tournament quarter finals at MLW Slaughterhouse. The event takes place on Saturday, October 4 at Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach, California.
