Bishop Dyer and Satoshi Kojima will battle in the Opera Cup at MLW Slaughterhouse. MLW announced on Monday that the two will compete in a tournament match on the show, which is set to take place on October 4th in Long Beach, California.
The announcement describes the match as follows:
MLW legend Satoshi Kojima will face off against the towering powerhouse Bishop Dyer at MLW Slaughterhouse in Long Beach.
This marks a first-time-ever clash between two forces representing different eras of Major League Wrestling.
Bishop Dyer, one half of the MLW World Tag Team Champion duo known as The Skyscrapers, storms into the quarterfinals fueled by size, explosiveness, and surging momentum. The Nomad of MLW, Dyer earned his place with a decisive victory over Anthony Greene in New York City, proving that the future of the sport runs through him.
But across the ring stands a living legend: Satoshi Kojima. Revered as the only two-time MLW World Heavyweight Champion, Kojima is often called the father of MLW. The decorated veteran showcased his trademark lariat and iron will in the opening round, pinning Bobby Fish to advance.
Now, destiny calls as Kojima meets Dyer in a bout that symbolizes more than just victory—it’s a collision of legacies.
