Backstage News on Britt Baker’s AEW Status, When Her Deal Ends

Britt Baker has been off AEW TV for quite some time, even missing Dynamite in her hometown of Pittsburgh last week. Sean Ross Sapp provided an update on her in the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, noting that she remains under contract to AEW and, in fact, could have her deal extended due to how much time she has missed from injuries.

Sapp noted that he does expect to see Baker in AEW again, adding that she has “at least” a year left on her contract and that AEW could actually add time to it due to the time she has missed from injuries, which would take her deal into 2027.

For her part, Baker is ready and willing to return once AEW decides they want to use her.
