Bullet Club War Dogs’ Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X Secure Spot in Super Jr. Tag League Finals

The finals have been set for the 2025 NJPW Super Jr. Tag League with today’s event at the Edion Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan. The Bullet Club War Dogs (Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X) defeated the Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita to win their B Block matchup and win the finals of the B Block of the tournament. They will now go on to face House of Torture’s Douki and Sho in the finals.
El Desperado and KUUKAI also defeated KUSHIDA and Yuki Yoshioka in their B Block matchup. However, the War Dogs still managed to clinch their finals spot with a victory over the Sweet Boys.
Douki and Sho attempted to attack the War Dogs after the match, but they were later turned today. They then made a promise to end the tag team’s winning streak in the finals tomorrow at Hiroshi Tanahashi Final Homecoming.
Hiroshi Tanahashi Final Homecoming takes place tomorrow at the Gifu Memorial Center in Gifu, Japan. Here’s the updated lineup:
* IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Hirooki Goto
* IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship Match: Yota Tsuji (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
* 2025 Super Junior Tag League Finals: House of Torture (DOUKI & SHO) vs. The Bullet Club War Dogs (Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X)
