Bully Ray Praises Liv Morgan & Becky Lynch’s Main Event Match On WWE Raw

Bully Ray believes the women’s division stepped up on last night’s WWE Raw, particularly Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch. Monday night’s show was headline by Morgan and Lynch battling for the Women’s World Title, a match that Morgan won with help from the Judgment Day. In addition, IYO SKY faced off with Raquel Rodriguez on the show and Bayley Battled Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification match.

Bully spoke about the episode on the latest Busted Open Radio about put over the women who worked the show, and specifically Morgan and Lynch. He noted that as much as he praises the NXT women’s division, the Raw division gave them “a run for their money” this week. You can see highlights below (per Wrestling Inc):

On the Raw Women’s Division’s Work On Monday:

“For as long as I can remember now, I’ve been coming on this show and putting over the NXT women’s division. Putting them over to the point where I’ve said that they are the best women’s division in the WWE. I believe that they are the best women’s division in all of wrestling. Those NXT women bust their ass, they perform. NXT does a great job of constantly turning over new quality female talent. But I’ll be damned if the women on Monday Night Raw last night did not give those NXT women a run for their money and put on an amazing job last night.”

On Morgan vs. Lynch:

“I believe that since the Busted Open after Raw in Philadelphia, where Liv Morgan sat and said, ‘Start watching as of tonight, because tonight everything changes for Liv Morgan.’ We kind of had heard that song and dance before from Liv. Start, stop, start, stop, gas, breaks. But I’ll be damned if from that day she has not stepped up her game every time she goes out there.

“And when Liv is in the ring with women who are technically better wrestlers than her, perception wise better wrestlers than her, she steps up to the plate and she delivers. There are some that consider Becky Lynch to be the best women’s wrestler in the WWE. It’s a discussion, but there’s some who believe that. Well, Liv Morgan stood toe-to-toe and went blow-for-blow with Becky Lynch last night.”
