Candice LeRae Reportedly Producing Matches For WWE Main Event

WWE Superstar Candice LeRae may not be involved in the company’s weekly programming on television lately, but the veteran wrestler has reportedly been quite active backstage.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Candice LeRae is currently busy training to produce matches. The wrestling insider noted that The Poison Pixie has been producing matches for Main Event lately.

Earlier this year, LeRae joined forces with her husband, Johnny Gargano, and his DIY teammate, Tommaso Ciampa. While she last competed on the main roster in the 20-woman Battle Royal at the Evolution Premium Live Event this past July, her last televised match to date took place on the September 23, 2025, edition of WWE NXT, where she battled Lainey Reid in the final of the Women’s Speed Championship number-one contendership tournament.

Since then, Candice LeRae has primarily worked on NXT house shows. Her most recent in-ring outing was against reigning EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey at a live event held at the Agora Theatre & Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio.

It will be interesting to see if LeRae fully transitions into a backstage role moving forward or if she returns to weekly programming in the coming months.
