Candice Michelle Officially Signs With TNA In Backstage Role

Candice Michelle has crossed the line, signing on with TNA in for a role behind the scenes. The company posted a video of Michelle signing a new deal with TNA president Carlos Silva as well as Tommy Dreamer.

You can see the video below, in which Silva says that Michelle will be “bringing all of that experience [as a former champion] to all the women here at TNA.”

Michelle said she didn’t know that “this could come back” and she’s happy to have a platform to help be part of what TNA is trying to build. She noted Dreamer called her on December 26th and that the notion of coming back scared her, but she is looking forward to being able to help out and feels at home. Michelle then signed the deal.

Michelle is best known for her time in WWE, where she had a reign as WWE Women’s Champion. She was with WWE from 2004, when she joined through the Diva Search, until 2009. She has made a couple of WWE appearances over the years and was in attendance at the AMC premiere of TNA Impact in January.

No word as of yet on the details around her contract.
