Former WWE Superstar Carlito recently joined Insight with Chris Van Vliet to discuss his career, working with Dominik Mysterio in The Judgment Day, and Dominik’s evolution as a Superstar. Carlito had high praise for Dominik Mysterio and discussed if he sees hime eventually becoming World Champion. Below are some highlights from Insight:

Carlito on His Work With the Judgment Day

“Yeah, I don’t know, because I’ve never been Hunter’s favorite. I don’t think he gets Carlito or the character. So it is what it is. But I was gonna make whatever I did work. So Judgment Day came by, and it was fun for me.”

His Thoughts on Dominik Mysterio

“He’s a rock star. The way he’s turned into a superstar. I think he’s probably gonna be one of the biggest guys in the business one day. So yeah, it’s great to see where he started, and then now finding himself. They’re really getting into the Dirty Dom character.”

On If He Views Dominik Mysterio as a Future World Champion

“I think he just needs to gain some weight, I think. I think he can be World Champion.”

Dominik Mysterio still currently holds the AAA Mega Championship in AAA. He recently defended the title against The Original El Grande Americano on Monday Night Raw earlier this month.
