Cesar Duran Mocks WWE Partnership With Saudi Arabia At MLW Fury Road

Cesar Duran took a shot at WWE’s association with Saudi Arabia during his promo at MLW Fury Road. Duran is the on-screen authority figure for MLW and cut a promo at Saturday’s Fury Road to pump the crowd up and thank them for the show, which was a sell-out.

During the promo, he said (per Fightful):

“You have sold us out! You once again did it! You love your Major League Wrestling and Major League Wrestling loves you! We have a legacy in the making tonight. And while some other company packed up their big show and shipped up to Saudi Arabia to take that blood money, we come here with the real deal in Texas.“

WWE has been had a relationship with Saudi Arabia dating back to early 2018, and will include WrestleMania 43 taking place in the country in 2027.
