Chelsea Green Deactivates Twitter Account After Denying That She’s MAGA

Chelsea Green has deactivated her Twitter account after she posted to the platform denying that she is MAGA. As previously noted, the WWE star posted to Twitter to address criticism about the backstage segment in which she and Tiffany Stratton recreated the currently-popular Sophie Cunningham meme in which the WNBA star was pointing at Phoenix Mercury forward DeWanna Bonner during an argument.
Cunningham has been accused in the past of being conservative and a supporter of the current Presidential administration, which seemed to have led people to (weirdly) assume that recreating the meme meant that Green and Stratton are pro-MAGA and pro-Donald Trump. Green shot down those posts in a tweet.
Green has since deactivated her Twitter account, as you can see in a tweet from a fan account below. This is not the first time Green has taken a break from social media; she deactivated her account back in July after she received death threats for commenting on the passing of Hulk Hogan in a way that some critics felt tried to minimize Hogan’s previous racist comments.
Green has not publicly commented on the matter since deactivating her account. Her Instagram account is still active at this time.
