– During a recent interview with SO CATCH by Hal 2, former WWE Superstar Chris Adonis (aka Chris Masters) discussed how he feels “exiled” from WWE and has never been able to return to the company since his 2011 release. Adonis noted (via WrestlingInc.com), “It feels like I’ve been exiled, hasn’t it?”
Adonis also noted that in the lead-up to his second release from WWE in 2011, “It’s like a bad marriage at that point.” He continued, “I don’t ever feel like I’m coming back to WWE full-time. For me, it would be great to just come back to the Rumble to sort of make amends with certain people in the company, but to also show the WWE Universe the polished performer that I’ve become.”
More recently, Chris Adonis has been working with the NWA. He was part of the winning team of the recent NWA Champions Series on the live edition of Powerrr with Team Rock N’ Roll, consisting of himself, Taya Valkyrie, Madi Wrenkowski, La Rosa Nega, Kerry Morton, Ricky Morton, Mims, Dak Draper, and Alex Taylor Willoughby.
