Chris Jericho is keeping mum about his next career step, saying that “we’ll just have to see” what happens. Jericho has been off TV since April and it has been reported that his contract is up with AEW at the end of the year. He appeared on Busted Open Radio to talk about celebrating his 35th year in the business and talked about his top 5 career moments, naming four in his WWE debut, the Festival of Friendship with Kevin Owens, his “a little bit of the bubbly” segment after winning the AEW World Championship, and his Dinner Debonair with MJF.
He kept the fifth one open, and you can see highlights from the discussion of why below (per Fightful):
On leaving the last spot of his top 5 moments open: “That’s the way I always think of it. ‘What’s your favorite moment of your career?’ Current, now. If I didn’t think it was the best, then why am I doing it? You always want to say that your next match and next show will be your best one. That’s the way you should look at things. We leave the space blank and we’ll see what happens.”
On what’s next for him: “We don’t know, right? We’ll just have to see.”
