Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho has provided an update on his wrestling future.

Y2J has been away from AEW’s weekly programming since April 2025. Amid his absence, speculations have been rampant about the 55-year-old returning to WWE once his deal with the Tony Khan-led company expires.

Jericho recently appeared on The Tim Weisberg Show to promote his upcoming KISS tribute act with Kuarantine on Saturday, December 6.

During the conversation, the AEW star was asked to comment on his wrestling future amid his packed schedule outside the squared circle. In response, Jericho declared that he is “not done yet” and that fans will definitely see him inside a wrestling ring in 2026. However, he didn’t exactly specify where.

“Well, you never know, man. That’s the thing. I’m not done yet. So, [I’m] still figuring out everything and see where I end up. But I’m pretty sure you’ll see me in 2026 in a wrestling ring somewhere,” Chris Jericho said.

Jericho also opened up about his upcoming KISS tribute act and about the origins of his Kuarantine band.

“Well, it’s a little more exclusive than that. We’re the world’s best and only non-makeup 80s Kiss tribute band. So we are playing the stuff that they recorded when they took their makeup off from Heaven’s on Fire and Lick It Up and Unholy and Good Girl Gone Bad and Let’s Put The X In Sex and those types of songs. It’s really cool. It’s something we started during the pandemic. And it was done just for fun with a group of guys that I’ve known for a while that have always had an appreciation for that era of the non-makeup kiss. And at the time, no one was releasing any music to the radio because there was a lockdown. So, we ended up doing just that, and we had a couple of top-20 singles and a few top-10 singles, all of these amazing obscure tracks from this era of Kiss that people kind of don’t remember. It’s just a rock-and-roll party, and it’s a great time. And that’s what we have been doing with the last five years of Kurantine, travelling and touring around the United States playing this music. And people have been having a blast of it, including us.”
