Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley Confident of Making it 2-0 Against FTR on Tonight’s Collision

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) are confident of repeating their heroics from WrestleDream and securing yet another victory over FTR in the Best of Five Series on tonight’s Collision.

As noted, Sabin and Shelley overcame Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler in a 30-minute slugfest at last weekend’s PPV to secure a 1-0 lead in the series. The second match is scheduled for tonight’s Collision.

Ahead of the match, in exclusive backstage footage shared by AEW’s social media handle, Sabin and Shelley exuded confidence and predicted yet another win for them. Shelley went as far as predicting a clean sweep in the five-match series. Here’s what they said:

Chris Sabin believes destiny is on MCMG’s side

“After going damn-near 30 minutes with FTR at WrestleDream, I gotta say, I’ve a newfound respect for the two of you. And tonight, hey, you might have the home field advantage; we’re in North Carolina, but you know what you don’t have? Destiny. The Best of Five Series, Machine Guns go up 2-0.”

Alex Shelley predicts a clean sweep over FTR

“It’s going to be a clean sweep, at least that’s my hope. AEW, this company, has our DNA intertwined with it. The Motor City Machine Guns have redefined pro wrestling. We are in AEW, where the best wrestle, and we’re gonna do it again.”
