Ciocco’s AEW Dynamite Review 6.17.26
SICKOS! It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! AEW Dynamite is LIVE tonight from the Lonestar State, more specifically, LIVE from the Smart Financial Center in Sugarland, Texas! The build towards Forbidden Door rolls on as we are now 11 days away from the seminal crossover event. And to that end, we’ll learn more (and see more) about the big 12-man match, the Women’s Owen Hart Tourney looks to settle into the finals, and the finalist from the Men’s side will come face-to-face!
For more, let’s roll our Headlines!
So, how is everyone doing on this Hump Day? I’ve been running a marathon of the Batman films, starting with, obviously, the 1989 seminal film and will conclude today before Dynamite with both The Lego Batman film and the 2022 The Batman film entry. I probably should wait until The Batman 2 is released, but the film has seen its release date get pushed at least three times already, so no better time than now LOL!
But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM!

Tonight, Dynamite is LIVE from Sugarland, Texas, as we are on the road to Forbidden Door! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz will be on the call!
MJF and the Don Callis Family are in the back. Lexi Nair says we are minutes away from finding out who MJF has picked for his team. MJF wants them to zoom in on his title belt, because this is the best title in the world, and it’s the Triple B. He approaches Kevin Knight and says he doesn’t like him, but he respects him, and he knows he has the most potential in this company. He talks to Andrade but then goes on a tirade about Swerve Strickland (he knows nothing of power), Hangman Page (MJF laughs), Will Ospreay (he will break his neck), and then Kenny Omega.
MJF: Don, have I beaten Kenny?
Don: Yes, Champ.
MJF: How many times?
Don: Twice, champ!
He also makes fun of Mark Briscoe, saying that people only care about him because his brother died. He wants Don to announce the members of the DCMJF team. We know Knight is in, so is Fletcher, Doyle, Okada, and Andrade! Andrade gets in the face of MJF, and he says the thing, you know, the thing. Everyone takes off, and Callis pumps up Andrade’s tires, but he tells him to just do the damn match.
Excalibur runs down the card for tonight. We see the Premier Athletes at ring side and Tony Nese is in the ring. Apparently, they demanded a match, and Tony gave them one in the form of Kenny BY GOD Omega!
Kenny Omega vs. Tony Nese
Lock-up is teased, but Tony takes time to pose. Smart Mark Sterling swipes at the boot of Omega, and Nese trips him up and he celebrates on the floor. Nese to the top, but he misses the Moonsault. Omega hits not ONE but TWO Snap Dragons! V-Trigger to the side of Tony’s head! Omega knocks Sterling off the apron, and he falls onto Ariaya Davari! One-Winged Angel, and Kenny salts this one away!
WINNER: Kenny Omega
TIME: 110 seconds
THOUGHTS: Squash or not, it’s always great seeing Kenny in the ring. Also nice to know that, since I don’t always watch ROH, that the Premier Athletes still exist!
RATING: N/R
Post-match, Kenny has a mic. But wait, Zach Sabre Jr is here in the flesh! He’s got Bad Dude Tito and Mikey Nicholls with him! Omega thinks better of going 3-on-1 with them and he slides the mic into the ring and walks up onto the ramp. The Young Bucks and Jungle Jack Perry are here! Zach kicks the mic back to Kenny, who picks it up. Now, here we have TMDK, and he doesn’t know what it means and neither do they. He respects Zach coming all this way to challenge little old him, and yeah, he has something that Kenny wants. Wouldn’t it look good on your resume if you had a big fat W by your name, but it would look just as good for Kenny beating someone from his home away from home, New Japan. It looks like we have some people here, and we’ll meet up soon. Omega wants the fans to say his catchphrase because he doesn’t think that TMDK have one, so he must bid us adieu. So goodbye, MUAH, and goodnight, BANG!
We get a video package, highlighting the Dog’s recent hot streak, including beating the Bang Bang Gang, the Young Bucks, and attacking the tag team Champions Cage and Cope.
Excalibur runs down the rest of the card for tonight.
It’s time to Ride Death!
Daniel Garcia and AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley W/Marina Shafir vs. Brodido (Bandido and Brody King)
Yes, glad to see Brody and Bandido back together!
Garcia and Bandido will start this one off. Garcia runs his mouth and pie faces Bandido. Lock-up, go behind and a mat return by Garcia, and he kicks “dirt” on Bandido. Another lock-up, Bandido takes Garcia to the mat and kicks “dirt” on him lol. Garcia with a side headlock takedown, both men struggle on the mat, but Bandido kips up! Garcia threatens Bandido with finger guns! The nerve! PERRO chants, as we get leapfrogs and roll throughs before Bandido connects on a dropkick.
King gets the tag, the fans BARK, and Brody scoop slams Garcia. King tells Bandido to get into the ring, he picks him up, and he slams Bandido onto Garcia! It’s time for the macarena, but Garcia breaks it up because he’s feeling it. HE DOES THE DANCE AGAIN! DAMN IT, HE GAVE THAT TO MINA! WHAT A JERK! Moxley isn’t very happy, but he is happy when Garcia tags him into the match.
Moxley and King circle each other, and we get a forearm battle, with neither man giving any ground. Moxley strings together a series of forearms and chops which King eats, and he delivers his own series. That drops Moxley to his knee, and he’s back up and grabs an eyelash. Moxley goes back for another eyelash and hits the ropes, but he bounces off of Brody like he was on a trampoline lol. Garcia is in, but King with a hip toss sends Danny to the floor. Bandido is in, and he takes off and hits a Swan Dive to both Jon and Danny! That’ll take us to the break.
King hits Garcia and Moxley with headbutts as we return. Moxley keeps bouncing around the ring until he gets to a solid base and he wants to trade strikes with King. Moxley off the ropes repeatedly with clotheslines, but he can’t knock King down. King looking Gonzo Bomb, but Moxley sneaks through his legs and hits a lariat. BRODY KING BOUNCES RIGHT BACK UP AND DECKS MOXLEY!
Both men tag out, and Garcia with a crucifix for a two. Cross chop from Garcia, but he runs into an Exploder into the corner from Bandido! Garcia looking for the CANNONBALL, but Moxley pulls Garica to safety. Brody looking to fly, but Marina stands in the way, so he heads to the floor, and we get the best conversation of all-time.
Marina: ARF!
Brody: ARF!
Marina: ARF!
Brody: ARF!
It’s all a trap, though, allowing Moxley to hit a Tope Suicida to King! All three Death Riders rip up part of ring side by the barricade and King gets piledriven! They crotch Bandido on the barricade, and he gets deposited into the first row. They return King to the ring, and Moxley pins him for a two. Garcia in, he hits a bulldog from the top, but King still kicks out at two. Garcia with a chop block to King before he tags in Moxley. Jon with body shots, sending King to the corner, and Jon gives him a good back scratch. Moxley puts King on the top rope, heads up, and hits a SUPERPLEX! The pin, but King kicks out at two as we hit the break.
Moxley has King in the Bulldog Choke as we return. He gives up the submission and knocks Bandido from the ring apron. Both Garcia and Moxley beat King back to their corner before they do the Death Rider Train! It doesn’t matter, however, as King decks BOTH Moxley and Garcia! Bandido is back for the tag, and he pops up Moxley for a CUTTER! Two tilt-a-world back breakers for Garcia, and Bandido Military Presses Garcia onto Moxley! Garcia hits the floor, and Bandido trips up Moxley. Bandido thinking 21-Plex, but Moxley smacks him with a forearm.
Moxley tags in Garcia, and Bandido has Garcia up for a suplex, but Moxley pulls Garcia down and he escapes the ring. He takes the ref so Marina can come in with the suplex, but Bandido does the stalling vertical to Marina! Bandido clears the top rope and wipes out all three Death Riders! Garcia is returned to the ring and Bandido hits the Frog Splash! The cover, but Moxley in and he stomps Bandido! King is in and he lays into Moxley, as both men hit the floor.
Garcia and Bandido trade small package pins with neither man getting the pin. Bandido trips up Garcia again and he hits the 21-Plex while King takes off and hits a Tope Suicida to Moxley on the floor, and Bandido has won it for his team!
WINNERS: Brodido
TIME: 22:10
THOUGHTS:Kind of interesting that this match got as much time as it did, but I’m not complaining because Brodido are a team again!
RATING: ***3/4
In the back, ProtoKada are standing by. Fletcher says they will be in the tag team match tonight and at Forbidden Door, but they haven’t forgotten about bringing the International Title back to the Family! They wonder who will be standing across from them, but it won’t be BIG TOM, who we see beaten at the feet of Fletcher and Okada! Fletcher tells Briscoe good luck finding teammates, and Okada screams at Ishii in Japanese. I was fully expecting him to say BITCH.
Excalibur reminds us of the card for tonight, and we will hear from the Dogs next!
COMMERCIALS!
Tommaso Ciampa is in the back. Chris, you want to why I hate you? I don’t have to give you 1,004 reasons, but if you want the truth, I didn’t always hate you. He respected Jericho the Lionheart, the world traveler who broke down the walls and reinvented himself in New Japan. But this Jericho, with the bad puns and the silly outfits, he hates it. If you bring that guy around, then you might as well stay home, or at the very least, stay out of my way. If you think you still have it, and if you think I am worthy, then by all means, let’s dance! Ball is in your court, don’t drop it!
We see the Dogs in the back, and they do their usual shit where they go to beat up the stage director, but that’s no stage director, it’s Adam Copeland! Connors and Finley turn around to see Christian Cage, and the fight is on to ring side! Copeland lines up Connors for a SPEAR, but David pulls him to safety. Cage has the mic. After they won the tag team titles a couple of weeks ago, the people were probably thinking he would say something unsavory about a family member, but even Christian Cage has standards. And he hasn’t seen a team that was named after their mothers! And if David Finley was a gift to wrestling, then your father should have let you run down his leg. OUCH!
Copeland says that the Dogs are them from 30 years ago. So, he understands them wanting to make their name and reputation on their backs. But they will be their learning curve. They thought they had it figured out until they ran into the New Age Outlaws and the APA, and they picked up intangibles along the way. So, they are going to use their old man strength, their old man smarts, and their old man grumpiness, because thy Dogs are walking into their house, and they will return the Dogs as broken and untrained pups. Shoutout to Copeland for wearing a Tragically Hip hoodie and a Faith No More shirt!
Excalibur runs down the matches that are official for Forbidden Door. This leads us into a video package with comments from Starlight Kid ahead of her match with Thekla!
But Thekla is here, DUMB BITCHES! She wants to put the hate away for a minute, because she did the Dojo thing and she was still fired from Japan. And now you are putting yourself in my footsteps. If you can’t accept her apology for spitting on the STARDOM logo, that’s not her fault, that’s on you! Tony Khan says that you are his favorite JOSHI wrestler, but you need to stay on your side and not step to Thekla, because she will put you and STARDOM in their place.
COMMERCIALS!
Lexi is in the back with Brodido, and Bandido is FIRED UP over winning their match tonight. Brody King tells him to be Tranquillo, and Bandido says he saw gold on the shoulder of Jon Moxley, and he wants it. The Death Riders are here, and Moxley tells Bandido that there is no Brody King and there is no Death Riders at ring side for this match. Moxley tells him to shoot his shot and they depart, as Bandido is thrilled.
C-E-O!
Owen Hart Women’s Tourney Semifinals Match: Mercedes Mone vs. Hazuki
The bell rings, and Mone with a quick go-behind. Standing switches ensue, Mone elbows her way free and she rips Hazuki down by her hair. She talks smack to Hazuki, but she ends up getting an arm drag. Mone responds with her own arm drag and then hits the bottom rope to deliver another arm drag. Quick pins are traded and Hazuki hits a dropkick. She kicks Mone out of the ring and onto the apron and goes to fly, but Mone rolls up the ramp. Mone walks up the ramp to stare at the Trophy that is displayed at the entrance before heading back into the ring. Hazuki meets her with a Rana which sends Mone right back to the floor and it also sends us to the break!
Mone swings Hazuki round and round before hitting a Lung Blower for a two as we return. Hazuki rolls out to the floor and Mone follows her out. Mone picks up Hazuki and slams her face first into the ring apron. She takes Hazuki around the other side of the ring and repeats this action. She stands on Hazuki before returning her to the ring and pinning her for a two. Mone screams like a Tetradactyl.
Mone with kicks to Hazuki and she ends up on the bottom rope, where Mone connects with a Meteora, but Hazuki is out at two. Mone whips Hazuki, but she lands on the apron, Mone runs in, and she gets planted on the apron with a DDT! Mone hits the floor and Hazuki returns to the ring and hits Mone with a Tope Suicida! Back to the ring, and here comes a second Tope! Back to the ring and here comes a third Tope, as the fans chant her name!
Hazuki returns Mone to the ring and heads to the top as we get THIS IS AWESOME chants. Hazuki with a missile dropkick from the top, Mone kicks out at two, but Hazuki switches into the Cross-Face! Mone tries to free herself with a roll-up, but Hazuki won’t let go. Mone finally manages to get her foot on the bottom rope. Hazuki looking for a suplex, but Mone blocks it and she initiates the Three Amigos! EDDIE chants from the crowd, but Hazuki blocks the third Amigo. Mone snaps the arm of Hazuki over the second rope, and she hits another Meteora on the ramp! That’ll take us to another break.
Hazuki lays into Mone in the corner with a forearm fury as we return. It looks like Mone has been busted open as she catches Hazuki on the charge. Mone tries to get to the top, but Hazuki kicks out her vertical base and hits a corner DDT! Hazuki to the top and she hits the Senton Splash for a two, but she turns right into the Cross-Face! Mone breaks the grip with a backslide for a two. Both ladies have a grasp of each other from their knees; they get into each other faces before starting a forearm battle. Hazuki eventually wins out and continues to hit Mone in the back of the head.
Hazuki takes WAY too long deciding what to do and Mone hits her with a knee strike, but they both hit pump kicks and they hit the mat. Aubrey starts the count, both ladies to their feet, and Hazuki intercepts Mone with a DDT and a PK, but Mone kicks out at 2.5! Hazuki picks up Mone and hits the Sheer Drop Brainbuster! Mone rolls out of the ring to get a respite. Hazuki returns Mone to the ring, but she has her suplex blocked and Mone with the Tombstone set-up, but it turns into a series of near falls. Mone traps Hazuki in the Statement Maker, but Hazuki rolls her up for a two.
Mone rebounds with a lung blower, but her Mone Maker is countered into a roll-up. Mone tries a second time, but again Hazuki reverses it for a two. La Magistral from Hazuki, but Mone is out at two. Hazuki with a thrust kick, but Mone cuts off Hazuki in the ropes. Hazuki follows Mone in, Casa Dora from Hazuki, but Mone with the Backstabber into the Statement Maker! After trying to fight it off as long as she can, Hazuki eventually succumbs and taps out!
WINNER: Mercedes Mone
TIME: 22:30
THOUGHTS: Mone continues to show why she is absolutely one of the best wrestlers in the world, and Hazuki was more than equal to the task in this match. Many false finishes added to the drama and the intrigue of this match, but Mone is going to the Finals for a second year in a row.
RATING: ****1/2
Video package for Maya World and Athena, who will meet each other on Collision this Saturday, with the winner moving on to face Mone at Forbidden Door. I’m fairly sure this was the same video package we saw on Saturday.
Schiavone is on the assignment! He’s here to introduce the two men who will face off in the Owen Hart Finals next Sunday at Forbidden Door, and he welcomes out Will Ospreay. The newly wedded BRUV is here, and he is in great spirits, he even shakes Tony’s hand and he bows to him. Schiavone even congratulates him on being married this weekend and making it here for Dynamite. Ospreay says that the wife knows how important this is to him, and they can go to Hawaii anytime, go chase your dream! He’s got a good wife, AYE? So, he took her upstairs, and he smashed the life out of her! He told her babe, clean yourself up, because I have to go to Houston! Will does the Ric Flair strut lol.
Schiavone welcomes out Swerve Strickland, and he is here with Prince Nana. Nana grabs the mic from Tony, and he tells him that his suit it too tight. Taz says he agrees, and Nana tells Tony to get out of the ring. Swerve takes the mic and he wants to know what’s up, Will? It’s been a year, and he hasn’t called him or texted him. He doesn’t like what he sees, because you have changed.
Ospreay objects to this, although he has gotten better looking and he’s got his hair under control. But you have changed, although Nana is still the same. It’s the way you’re looking at him. Do we have a problem? Do we need to have a chat?
Strickland says they do, and he will address the elephant in the room. They spent last summer fighting off the Death Riders, and now Will is playing Booty Boot Camp with them. That elicits chants of the same, and Will never gave us an explanation.
Will says that it does look weird, but sometimes, you have to accept the help. He needed the training, and its helped, as his ground game is much better. The night they snapped his neck, he saw Kenny Omega try to get into the cage, he saw the Opps try to get into the cage, he saw Darby Allin try to climb the cage, although he can climb Mount Everest though. LOL! But he didn’t see Strickland try to climb the cage to help him, although he understands Strickland had the torn meniscus. They took the Young Bucks out of power last year at All-In Texas, and he said he needed help to get the title off of Moxley and onto Page, but Strickland didn’t help. Will ended up in a hospital that night, and he saw the footage, and Strickland came out to help. Will says when you are his brother and he loves you he expects him to run through a brick wall for you like he would do for you. So, he wants to know where he was?
Strickland goes to talk, but Ospreay knocks the mic out of his hand, and he says on second thought, he doesn’t want to hear it. He says Swerve is looking for redemption, but this is his dream, BRUV! He worked outside of Wembley Stadium at various jobs, and when he was 15, the kids said it would be their dream to kick the winning goal in the World Cup. And Ospreay is one step closer to kicking that game winning goal in Wembley. He doesn’t know if Strickland looks at him as a brother or an enemy, but he knows that Strickland wouldn’t hesitate to end him, so Ospreay will end him.
Strickland grabs his mic and he says not if he doesn’t end Will first. Swerve had to stand in this ring and listen to Ospreay say that it wasn’t his time, but it was Hangman’s time. And he sat back and he listened, and they got the title away from Moxley and to Hangman, but where is Page now? Hell, Hangman can’t even challenge for the World Title anymore, so all of your work was for NOTHING! So now you expect Strickland to just step aside so Will can do something that causes the audio to break for like five seconds lol. Strickland had veterans push him around when he was younger and he had to sit at home for six weeks because weak ass egos got in the way. But he throws Molotov Cocktails into the system and he enjoys it. And speaking of fireworks, they are going to create them at Forbidden Door, but after ten years, the same result will happen, and Swerve’s name will be up in the lights. Because you haven’t defeated me in ten years, not even when you were the fresh new face here in AEW. And Swerve will beat Ospreay again, and again, and again, and again. Because this version of you with the fragile ass neck cannot beat me.
That’s too much for Ospreay, as he punches Swerve in the face! Swerve seems legit surprised by this, and Nana gives him his chain. Strickland goes to attack Ospreay with the chain, but Jon’s theme hits and here comes the Death Riders. They circle the ring, but Strickland thinks better of it, and he tells Ospreay that he has changed before leaving the ring.
Lexi has Jericho (Just Jericho) in the back. She says Ciampa says he wants to see a more serious side of him, and Jericho says how about we meet face-to-face in the ring this Saturday in Houston and let’s get serious. Short, sweet, and to the point!
COMMERCIALS!
Daniel Garcia is berating Will Ospreay in the back as we return. Ospreay grabs Garcia by the ears, but here comes Moxley to interject. He spits some Bane from the Dark Knight Rises wisdom about feeling in control, and he says all people have when they have nothing else is words. Ospreay lets go of Garcia’s ears, and we make nice.
It’s time for the main event, and to find out who Mark Briscoe has on Team Redneck Kung-Fu! MJF makes his appearance, followed by the Don Callis Family.
Mark Briscoe is in the back with the Conglomeration. While MJF was playing hide the pickle with the Don Callis Family, he’s got his three guys right here. You can take out Big Tom, but he will be back and he will get revenge, Kyle O’Reilly says that if anyone is disqualified in the match, then they are out of Forbidden Door. They still need two partners, so Briscoe introduces a man who wants revenge on Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita is here! Takeshita says he is here to get revenge on the Protostar! Briscoe also has someone who wants to get his hands on both MJF and Knight, and we have Darby Allin! Allin says that they are going to beat them tonight, and then at Forbidden Door, they will beat them in the cage. Here come the babyfaces, but before anything can go down, we have to take a break!
COMMERCIALS!
AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF, TNT Champion Kevin Knight, Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, and Andrade El Idolo vs. Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin, and International Champion Konosuke Takeshita
The bell rings, and it looks like MJF wants to start with Brsicoe, but MJF tags in Andrade instead lol. MJF gets into his face and they argue, which allows Briscoe the chance to land strikes to Andrade. Andrade looks to leapfrog Briscoe, but Mark smacks him out of the ring. Andrade turns the tables on the floor and throws Briscoe back into the ring, and it’s time to find the baddy! Andrade nonchalantly walks into a scissor kick from Briscoe, and he corners Andrade in their part of town. Briscoe with punches, Strong tags in and he rapidly strikes Andrade in the head.
Cassidy is in, and he looks for the most powerful strike in the world, but Andrade picks him up. Cassidy frees himself and rips down Andrade’s pants! Both Fletcher and O’Reilly are in now, evoking KYLE chants! Fletcher poses, but the fans boo him. They do chant LET’S GO KYLE/KYLE SUCKS as O’Reilly works the arm of Fletcher. Leg trip by O’Reilly, but Fletcher picks him up with a scoop slam. Fletcher gets in the face of Allin, provoking him, but O’Reilly lands kicks to the legs of Fletcher. Ankle Lock is applied, but EVERYONE is fighting EVERYWHERE!
Allin and Doyle end up in the ring, as Darby low bridges Jake onto the ramp, hits a Tope to Knight, and hits the Coffin Drop to Doyle! Takeshita takes off and he wipes out Okada and Andrade on the floor! Allin and MJF end up in the ring, but Knight attacks Allin from behind. Fletcher shoves Knight off and he attacks Allin. Fletcher and Knight shove one another. Knight backs off onto the apron and MJF is in legally as he stomps on Allin and he runs around the ring like he won a fourth World Title. That’ll take us to the break.
Cassidy has been isolated in the heel’s corner as we return. Doyle does arm wrenching exercises at the expense of Cassidy’s arm in the corner. MJF sets up Cassidy for one more arm wrench, but Cassidy shoves MJF into Doyle and he snaps his arm instead. Everyone tries to get Jake to stop before he realizes he was wrenching MJF’s arm lol. Strong and Knight get the tags now, and Roddy uses Cassidy to throw into his opponents. Strong and Doyle slug it out in the middle of the ring. Doyle steps on Roddy’s foot and smacks him to the mat. Strong gets the last laugh with the Angle Slam for a two.
Doyle hits Strong with a shoulder breaker, and O’Reilly enters with kicks and lariat off the ropes. KOR finally knocks out Doyle with forearms. Andrade takes out O’Reilly, and Allin attacks him. Knight trips up Allin, allowing Andrade to spike Darby. Cassidy with the DDT to Andrade, but Okada is in with the Tombstone to OC! Takeshita is in, he blocks the Rainmaker, but Fletcher is in. Takeshita fights off Okada, but he eats a German from Fletcher. Corner kick from Fletcher, but Takeshita avoids the Brainbuster. Thrust kick from Fletcher, but he runs into a Blue Thunder Bomb from Takeshita!
MJF gets the tag, as does Briscoe, and both men get in each other’s faces. Knight tries to intervene, but Briscoe with the Redneck Kung-Fu! Flying back elbow to Okada and an Exploder to Andrade! Briscoe looking Jay Driller, but Knight is in with a springboard clothesline! Allin attacks Knight, as both men take-off up through the crowd and onto the stage. Doyle intercepts Allin and chokes him out as Knight hits some body blows. DOYLE THROWS ALLIN OFF THE STAGE AND INTO THE RING POST! Darby is once again Ded.
Briscoe avoids the Heat Seaker and he hits MJF with the Jay Driller! The pin, but Don Callis is here to distract Bryce from counting! Briscoe drags MJF to his corner looking Froggy Bow, but Fletcher cuts him off, so Strong sends Fletcher from the ring. Apparently at some point, Strong got the tag officially, and MJF applies the Salt of the Earth and Roddy quickly taps out.
WINNERS: MJF and the Don Callis Family
TIME: 17:25
THOUGHTS: It’s fairly predictable that, given the stipulation coming up at Forbidden Door, that the heels would win this time out. I am surprised, though, that there was no disqualification to be had in this match, since they announced it but didn’t deliver on it. A fine main event, but too convoluted for its own good.
RATING: ***1/2
Post-match, the beatdown from the heels is on. MJF tells Andrade to pick up Briscoe, but Andrade objects and they shove one another. Don Callis interjects, and eventually Andrade follows orders, so MJF can smack Briscoe with his Dynamite Diamond Ring! The heels pose to end the show, and with that, we are done!
