Ciocco’s AEW Dynamite Review 8.19.26
SICKOS! It’s Wednesday, you know that means! AEW Dynamite is LIVE tonight from the Chesapeake Arena in Baltimore, Maryland! And as we look forward to a plethora of amazing matches tonight, the calendar is quickly flipping, and the countdown is shortening as we’re approaching All-In London in 11 days! A majority of the matches so far are known for the biggest show on the docket, but that doesn’t discredit what we are about to see over the next couple of shows until we arrive in England! The Continental Classic Cup got a new “random” draw and tonight we start the quarterfinals, and the TBS Title will be defended in a 4-way Dance!
For more on this and everything else, let’s roll those Headlines!
So, how is everyone doing on this Hump Day? I’ve been busy with type-tape work, with a preview for TNA Lockdown this Sunday and then for All-In London the following Sunday. At least they aren’t doing their shows on the same day lol. Phillies seem to be figuring it out now, but I’ll believe when they beat the really good teams and not teams behind them in the standings. Indiana has also won five games in a row, and, at 24-12, I am miffed as to how they haven’t clinched a playoff spot yet.
But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM!

Tonight, we are LIVE from the home of the Orioles and the Ravens, Baltimore! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz are on the call! Excalibur gives us a run down for the show tonight.
It’s BRUV time, BRUV!
The United Empire vs. the Don Callis Family
FUCK DON CALLIS chants before the bell. The fans understood the assignment lol. Brian Cage and Ospreay will start this one off. Ospreay tries to use his speed to keep Cage off balance, but Brian catches him in a powerbomb set-up. Ospreay escapes and he hits an enziguri to Cage, who backs into the corner and Romero tags in. Akira is in as well, and he gets a two off a scoop slam.
It’s time for the MEAT to throw down, as Archer and Henare come to blows in the middle of the ring. Henare has no luck trying to shoulder Archer to the mat, but Lance drops him with ONE shoulder tackle. Archer charges the corner, but Henare moves and lands chops. Archer reverses, but Henare is back with more chops. Rolling Liger kick from Henare, and Ospreay is in to help gang up on Archer. Akira with the tag, Ospreay throws Akira on top of him, but Archer kicks out with ease.
Lance looking chokeslam, but Akira escapes and hits an upkick. Romero strikes Akira in the back, allowing Archer the chance to hit an overhead throw. Lance punches Ospreay in the face and Rocky talks that not-so-well-deserved smack as we head out for break.
Akira tries to chop his way through Cage as we return. It went about as well as you would expect. Cage takes a cheap shot at Ospreay on the apron, Akira tries another escape, but Cage shuts him down. Akira finally tags out, and Henare is in. Cage avoids a hammer throw, Henare looking kick, but Cage rolls him up for a two. Henare catches Cage with a Liger Bomb for a two. Cage reverses with a variation of the Angle Slam.
Archer with the tag and he smashes Henare in the corner. Archer looking Blackout, but Henare escapes and hits a deadlift, German! Archer no-sells this and hits a Blackhole Slam! Tags are made, and Ospreay lays into Romero. The entire UE lay out Rocky in the corner, but Archer is back to wreck house. Akira assaults Archer with like a thousand slaps, he flips off Lance, and he gets his face punched in lol.
Everyone gets their shit in at this point, with the UE holding the ring. Akira and Henare take out Cage and Archer on the floor with dives, leaving Ospreay and Romero in the ring. Rocky does his footie celebration, but the dumbass gets hit with the Hidden Blade, and that’s game!
WINNERS: The Empire of the BRUV!
TIME: 10:55
THOUGHTS: A decent enough match. Akira showed me something here, but this was all about Ospreay getting the spotlight heading into his World Title match in 11 days. It was nice to see Archer actually wrestle on TV for a change!
RATING: ***1/2
Excalibur highlights the 3-way International Title match at All-In London. In that vein, The Remarkable Renee Paquette has Kazuchika Okada in the back. She wants his opinion on Don Callis saying that the International Title has to stay in the family. Okada says that family is the most important thing to him. Unlike that idiot Konosuke Takeshita! He left the family because he is selfish, but Okada is not! And he will be happy for Kyle if he retains his title, BUT, if Okada wins, then he wants Kyle to be happy for him, and he wants him to raise his hand in the middle of the ring.
Okada, thy sly troll!
Speaking of the PROTOSTAR, he is here for a chat with Mr. 6:05PM Saturday Night on TBS! Tony basically tells Kyle what Okada just said like, literally, less than a minute ago. Fletcher wants to remind us that we are in the midst of the greatest International Title reign of all-time. And he doesn’t see any reason that it has to end at Wembley at All-In. Fletcher says that he agrees with Okada that the Family is the most important thing, and he is willing to go along with this plan, because he trusts Callis and he owes everything to him.
BUT Okada has to realize his role in this. If you say Family is as important to you as you say it is, then you will have no problem having my back to ensure that I keep the title. But there is ONE thing that he agrees with Okada on, and that is that they both HATE Takeshita. Fletcher doesn’t know where he is, probably licking his wounds after losing in the G1 Climax.
Oh, we know where Takeshita is, he is here in Baltimore! Takeshita heads down the ramp and gets on the apron. Both men remove articles of clothing before throwing down in the middle of the ring. Fletcher with a Half-and-Half, but Takeshita catches him with the Blue Thunder Bomb! Both men attempt to throw the other one in the corner, but Takeshita wins out with a Poison Rana! Overdrive Knee from Takeshita, but he’s not done, as he plants Fletcher with the Raging Fire! Takeshita picks up the International Title and poses with it, as commentary wonder where Okada is. Where do you think he is lol.
Excalibur is TRYING to give me the matches for tonight, but he sounds like a Cyborg. Must be some serious audio issues going on, because it goes to break and the commercial is fine. JUST FINE!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
And we still have NO audio when we come back, which is going to be a problem because we are heading into the Kenny and Will sit-down.
Never mind, it comes back in time for us to hear how Ospreay looked up to Kenny no matter where Kenny worked. Omega says he likes to keep his finger on the pulse. He wanted Ospreay in PWG. Was he blown away by Will? Not at that point, but he knew he had something special.
Renee goes over history and wants to know when Kenny saw Will in a different light. Kenny says it goes back to Wrestle Kingdom 17; he came back to see if Will could fill his shoes. I mean, this is Wrestle Kingdom we are talking about, big names and tickets. Unfortunately, Ospreay wasn’t able to prove to him that he could put New Japan on his back.
Ospreay says that, with all due respect, Kenny walked into a plush situation, Ospreay had it different. You built your name off the backs of Ishii, Okada, and Tanahashi, but Ospreay had to do it the hard way. You made three-hour trips, I had to make 15-hour flights, and I was put in a hotel no bigger than a broom closet. He doesn’t want to hear any bullshit from Omega about attendance.
There’s a short bit of arguing before Renee brings it back to order. She brings up Forbidden Door 2023, where Will joined up with Don Callis. Kenny says that he was blinded by the gold; the AEW World Title, the TNA World Title, and he trusted Don. But apparently, Will knows more than Kenny does. Kenny said he respected Ospreay, but he used Callis to screw him over in his home country.
Ospreay says that there had to be payback after Omega came back to Japan and he laid everything out that affected Will. Hell, he still has a scar on his forehead from when Kenny DDT’d him on the top buckle. Omega says that was payback for him coming in to embarrass him in Canada.
Ospreay says that Callis insisted on getting revenge on Omega through Will, but Omega says that is music to his ears. This makes him feel like he is up 2-0 and not a tied series looking for a rubber match.
Renee brings up Kenny’s diverticulitis, and Omega cuts her off. He is tired of hearing Excalibur, Taz, Don Callis etc. all talk about it. Let’s talk about you, Will, you had three discs repaired in your neck, right? Omega says he is in the best shape of his life, but he doesn’t know about Will.
Ospreay tells Omega that he has come back strong from his neck issues. Omega objects and tries to stir the pot, but Ospreay says that is fucking bullocks! There is a lot of pressure on Will. No Englishman has won the World Title in England. When he puts himself in the pressure cooker, he crumbles. He doesn’t need Callis, he doesn’t need a screwdriver, he is proud and he will do things the right way when he defeats Kenny.
Omega says the last time that you tried to do it the right way, you failed. And this time, you will fail again in your home country. Only this time, with your mother there…
Ospreay gets up and looks like he wants to smack that silly man bun off of Kenny’s head, but security restrains him.
Omega says that he is sure that Will’s mother will be proud of him whether he wins or losses. However, his young son might need a new hero after Kenny defeats Will again.
Will wants to kill Kenny again, but this time, Kenny splits. Well, that was some personal but riveting stuff.
It’s TBS time on, well, TBS (And HBO Max!)
TBS Title Match: Maya World (C) vs. Kris Statlander vs. Persephone vs. Hikaru Shida
The bell rings, and everyone gangs up on Shida lol. Persephone rolls up World for a two. Shida goes to strike Statlander, but Kris catches her hand and chops her out to the apron. Kris goes running, but Shida rolls back in and she hits an apron clothesline to Statlander.
Maya is back, and she takes out Shida and hits a corner CANNONBALL to Hikaru. Persephone from behind on Maya, she goes running, but Kris with a STUNNER in the ropes to Persephone! Statlander returns World to the ring, and she throws Shida into Persephone. Maya has a head-full of steam and she takes out Kris with a Tope Suicida! Persephone lays out both Maya and Shida on the floor and she poses as we hit the break.
Persephone has Statlander in peril as we return. Statlander fights free, but Persephone hits a German! The cover, but Kris kicks out at two. Persephone argues with Referee Bryce, but Maya is back with a wheelbarrow bulldog! Shida from behind, and she admires her handiwork. Shida puts Maya on the top rope, here comes Persephone to grab ahold of Shida, but Kris is back, and she hits a powerbomb to both ladies, causing Persephone to suplex Shida lol.
World and Statlander finally comes to blows, until they don’t thanks to a missile dropkick from Shida. Statlander decks Shida, but Persephone catches her with a SPEAR! That leaves the heels of the match to trade. Persephone with a John WOO dropkick to Shida. Maya tries to roll up Persephone from behind, but Persephone pops free and decks Maya. It’s back to the heels, as Persephone wants to shake hands, but Shida kicks it away. Persephone looking Razor’s Edge, but Statlander is back and she powerbombs Shida!
Persephone has Statlander in trouble, but Kris is able to roll-up Persephone with a high stack. Maya from the top with a Swanton where her head hit’s Kris’s ass lol. Statlander goes for the clotheslines, but Maya grabs a tight roll through and she retains the belt!
WINNER: Maya’s World, Party on (And still!)
TIME: 9:40
THOUGHTS: And Maya continues to get the job done! It may have been a fluke at first, but she’s shown otherwise recently, and this win over two former Women’s and TBS Champions plus the CMLL Women’s Champion cements her place in the Women’s Division. This match had the air of anyone being able to win it and it would have been believable. The girls didn’t get ten minutes, but they made the most out of it.
RATING: ***3/4
Hello there, give the Brawling Birds your attention! Why yes, yes, I will. We see highlights from the past two weeks, where Divine Dominion attacked the Birds, and this past week they got revenge on Megan and Lena. The Birds love it when they want to get aggressive with them. They think the tag team titles look lovely, and they will enjoy winning them in front of a lot of drunk Brits cheering on their Birds!
It’s time for the first Quarterfinals C3 match! During Jon’s entrance, Renee is backstage, and we see Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy (who will face each other on Saturday) watching on the monitor. OC tells her to SHUSH, and Kyle points at the TV lol.
Continental Contender’s Cup quarterfinals match: Jon Moxley vs. Jay White
A-E-Dub chants before the bell. A good amount of time is spent with both men circling each other and taking in the fan reactions. White looking for wrist control, but Moxley rolls out of the way and we re-set. Test of strength comes next, as Moxley forces White into a back bridge. White pulls himself back up and takes Moxley to the ropes, where he slaps Jon on the chest.
Another lock-up, and this time Moxley takes White down to the mat with a hammerlock. Cognizant of his surroundings, White is able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Moxley greets White with a shoulder tackle as he gets to his feet, sending White from the ring. That’ll take us to the break.
Moxley is in control as we return. He ducks a clothesline attempt from Jay with a drop-step and he hits a German. White to the corner, Moxley approaches with his fists up and emulates a boxer with the punches. Taz says the fans have been great tonight from the opening moment, and I wonder why he is being so nice now lol. Moxley hooks onto White, but Jay scores with a DDT! White with one of the more unique kip-ups I have ever seen, and he assaults Moxley with chops in the corner. Here come elbow strikes from the point of the appendage, and White with a charging corner clothesline. Moxley no-sells this and gets in Jay’s face. Moxley with the hammer throw, but White catches Moxley on the inbound and hits a Snap Rana!
To the floor they go, and both men hit matching clotheslines, and they both hit the floor. THIS IS AWESOME chants now as both White and Moxley are back in the ring. Moxley to the corner, he charges White, Jay looking Bladerunner, Moxley looking Death Rider, but White with a kick to the gut and a corner release suplex! White hooks on the Mission Blow submission (Excalibur gives Yuji Nagata a shoutout), but Moxley is able to roll through and he gets his feet on the ropes. We’re heading for ANOTHER break.
Both men are trading hands on spaghetti legs as we return. Excalibur says Moxley looks like he picked up a shoulder injury, but it doesn’t stop Jon from hitting a piledriver. Jay out of the ring and Jon hits a Tope Suicida! Moxley uses the apron to smash his shoulder back into place and he sends White back into the ring. Moxley to the top, White moves, and White hits a Cutthroat Suplex! He hits a second one, and then hits a third one, but Moxley rolls through on the third one. Moxley attacks, but White lays him out with a Flatliner and a fourth Cutthroat! Urinage from White, but Moxley is out at two.
White puts Moxley on the top rope and hits a Superplex! White to his feet looking for the Bladerunner, Moxley escapes into the Choke, but White slides back out into the pin, and Moxley kicks out at 2.9! Bladerunner connects, but Moxley rolls out of bounds. White rolls Moxley back into the ring, but Jon catches him with a variation of his Choke! White to his feet, but Moxley changes levels and hits the Death Rider! The cover, but White kicks out at 2.9! Moxley goes back to the Bulldog Choke, but after some fight, White goes nighty-night.
WINNER: The Moxley of Death
TIME: 19:20
THOUGHTS: Many people had this match pegged as the possible finals for All-In London, and yet we got it in the quarters 11 days earlier. And, as one would expect, this match delivered. The pace was deliberate, moves were impactful, and this was another match that felt like it could have went either way. Good, nay, great stuff!
RATING: ****1/4
Post-match, White gets to his feet, and both Moxley and Marina celebrate. The handshake is teased, but Moxley leaves the ring. It’s a ruse, however, as The Dogs are here to ambush White! The Conglomeration come down, but Jon Hunter’s favorite MADMAN is back! That brings down the Trio’s Champions Brodido and Hangman Adam Page! Page makes fun of Gabe for his boots, and they do look funny lol. The Demand and Lethal Twist are out.
Ricochet says Hangman needs to be quiet for a minute, and then he tells him to keep talking. Hangman says there is no way in hell that they are missing All-In London, so if you’re done having your partners shine your bald head, then feel free to come and face us. As a matter of fact, he wants any Trio’s team to come and meet them under the Arch at Wembley, because they will kick all of their asses.
To the back we go, as Renee has Maya World! Maya says that she retained her TBS Title, but she isn’t done yet. Here comes Willow Nightingale! She congratulates Maya on her title win and retention, but Willow said that IF she beat Thekla for the Women’s Title that she would give Maya a shot at it. She proposes a match at Collision this Saturday, Maya says she is a woman of her word, and she agrees to it.
Jon Cruz is in the middle of the ring. He introduces himself as MJF’s Spanish interpreter. He has a proclamation for Andrade and why he is not the Real Latino Man. He reads in Spanish so Andrade can understand it and then reads the last part in English so us idiots can understand. Cruz says that IF Andrade was here in Baltimore, then he would challenge him to a match, but he is a coward. Hell, Cruz is more of a Latino Man than Andrade is. Cruz drops the mic and he goes to leave, but Andrade is here! He storms the ring and Justin Roberts says, “now we have a match” and “marching towards Jon Cruz” lol.
Andrade El Idolo vs. Jon Cruz
Jon Cruz is officially dead. Send all flowers and donations to MJF.
WINNER: HOW YOU KNOW?
TIME: 12 seconds
THOUGHTS: I think Cruz might need his mask back after that one lol.
RATING: SMASH!
“Post-match”, Andrade gets the mic and he challenges MJF to come out here and face him like a man right now! MJF appears on the screen, saying he wasn’t going to be in Baltimore and in front of these poor’s. He is in the most magical place in the World, Long Island New York, and he is enjoying the time in the hot tub. The next time he sees Andrade, he will be looking up at the lights in Wembley.
The screen fades out, so Andrade grabs Cruz’s shirt and rips it off. He hits him with another DM to make a point to MJF.
It’s Nigel and YO SOY Hechicero, next!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
In eleven days, Willow Nightingale will defend her Women’s Title against Mercedes Mone. Renee introduces both ladies, who are in two separate rooms. Which is a shame because the fight could have been a lot of fun. Mone says she beat Willow’s ass, so she doesn’t understand why she is still smiling. Willow says she is smiling because of all of us. Mone has spent her entire career trying to be perfect, but she is just Willow. No amount of money, chasing fame or glory will help Mone, especially if she wants to win her World Title.
Mone says you smiled at me when you defeated me in New Japan and almost injured me. You smiled at me when you took my TBS Title. You smiled at me when you threw cake in my face and your friends danced over me. She calls Willow a dumb bitch and says SHE will me smiling at Willow when she takes her World Title.
Willow challenges Mercedes to settle this now, and Willow walks out into the hallway. She’s blindsided by Mone in the hallway, though, and the fight comes out onto the ramp. Willow fights back, but here comes security to break it up. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! They get a little handsy with Willow, but she gets into the ring and grounds and pounds Mone. Super-Agent Pat Buck is here, but even he can’t stop these women from fighting. It looks like the situation has been subdued, but Mone goes on the attack. Mercedes is drug out of the ring, and more words are traded as Mone is ushered up the ramp.
Prince Nana is in the back. He asks Hangman Page if they scared him, and we see Swerve sitting down. He wants to make sure that he heard ANYONE can challenge for the Trio’s Titles? Don’t say it if you don’t mean it! Strickland walks off, Nana asks WHOSE HOUSE and shrugs his shoulders.
Boy, I can’t IMAGINE who Swerve could POSSIBLY have with him to make a Trio’s team. It is really a mystery!
IT’S TIME TO FOCK IN THE BUSHES!
Continental Contender’s Cup Quarterfinals Match: Nigel McGuinness vs. CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Hechicero
The bell rings and, predictably, Hechicero keeps diving for the bad foot of Nigel. Nigel says if you keep going after my foot, I’ll go after your mask. LMAO! Hechicero tempts fate by going after the foot of Nigel, so Nigel tries to rip his mask off lol. Hechicero rolls out to the apron and complains to the Real Papa Buck, Rick Knox, about it.
Hechicero is back in the ring, and he applies a front face lock. This forces Nigel to put his bad foot on the rope to break the hold, so Hechicero kicks the rope. Hechicero to the apron, but Nigel rings his arm over the top rope. This doesn’t stop Hechicero from heading to the top as he hits Nigel with a crossbody block for a two. That’ll take us to the break.
Hechicero is in control as we return. Nigel tries to fight back with chops and uppercuts, but Hechicero eggs him on. Double palm strike from Nigel, and Hechicero pulls down his straps and asks for another one. Nigel obliges, but Hechicero takes out the left leg and hits a short DDT. Hechicero beats Nigel to the corner, where he sets his bad foot on the middle rope and he runs the ropes and kicks his foot. Hechicero locks up Nigel and he takes him swinging into the Mad Scientist Bomb.
Hechicero charges Nigel in the corner, but Nigel moves, and he sits Hechicero over the top rope. Nigel looking for the Tower of London, but Hechicero escapes and looks for a standing sleeper. Nigel rolls through and looks for the London Dungeon! Hechicero escapes and locks on an ankle lock. Nigel grabs the rope, but Knox lets it go so Hechicero can keep the hold on. Nigel escapes properly, and Hechicero looks for a double leg, but Nigel with a knee to the face! Nigel flips Hechicero off the top rope and catches him with the London Lock! Hechicero keeps trying to fight out of it, but eventually, he passes out!
WINNER: Nigel, SIR-TAN-LEE!
TIME: 10:20
THOUGHTS: A gutsy performance from Nigel, who, at the very least now, has punched his ticket to the Semifinals in Scotland next week. Hechicero controlled the match, but Nigel pulled it out when it mattered.
RATING: ***1/2
We get a video package for the Kevin Knight and Darby Allin TNT Title match at All-In London. The audio was cut from the recent Darby promo in the back where he questioned what family meant to Kevin as opposed to Darby.
Speaking of the Jet, Schiavone is here to introduce the Champion. Excalibur says we are in the overtime (as if that ever changes lol). Tony goes to ask Knight something, but Kevin says that Tony makes him feel uncomfortable with all of these questions, so get out of the Jet’s ring. He knows Darby still sees him as this young guy, but he is a grown ass man, and he is the most successful TNT Champion of all-time. Knight wants Allin to come out here so they can talk man-to-man.
The music hits, and Darby is out with his skateboard. Knight wants his music cut, and he wants security to frisk Darby, which they never do. Knight doesn’t want him to have any weapons or anything that he can use, and the Family isn’t here to back-up Knight, so walk on down here.
Allin is still on the ramp when DARBY EXPLODES DUE TO PYROTECHNICS! Darby is DED again, as Knight hits a Busaiku Knee on the ramp! Knight grabs a chair from under the ring, puts Allin in the Tree of WOE, and places the chair over his face. Coast-to-Coast Kick incoming from Knight, and he takes his leave. The medical staff come over to assist Darby, and Steven Borden is here. It took me a minute to realize it was him, so I’m glad Excalibur mentioned it. They get Darby on a stretcher and wheel him up the ramp as the fans chant DARBY.
Oh, shit, we still have another match! I completely forgot!
BREAK IN PROGRESS!
Post-break, we see the events of what happened during the Knight and Allin segment. We see Allin being taken in the back on the stretcher. Knight walks over and makes fun of both Borden and Allin, and Steven wants to go after Knight. Darby tells him it isn’t his time yet, and they keep moving. Knight says he wasn’t ready anyway, as he looks conflicted but then smiles.
It’s time for the latest Elite reunion! The DCF make their entrance, followed by the Young Bucks. We get Kenny’s intro to Battle Cry and we see him preparing to walk out but Will Ospreay is here to stop him. I can’t make out what Will said, but Kenny says watch how it is done and he heads out. Well, Kenny can’t be channeling a heel because he stopped to sign a young fan’s Birthday sign!
The Elite vs. The Don Callis Family
El Clon and Matt Jackson kick this one off. Matt off the ropes with an arm drag, here comes Nick, and he uses his brother to hit an over the shoulder throw. Doyle is in the ring, but the Bucks sweep out his feet and dropkick from the ring. Here comes Dunkzilla, but he fares no better. Omega gets the tag, and he kicks both Doyle and Davis on the apron. He bends El Clon over his knee and Matt with an elbow drop. Kenny AGAIN throws a cheap shot at Doyle, but Davis blocks Kenny and punches him back. The Bucks take Davis off the apron, and all three men chuck El Clon out of the ring and onto his partners.
Back in the ring, and Clon gets faked out with a DDT by Matt. Davis and Doyle have seen enough, as the DCF smash Matt in the corner. Davis and Doyle throw Clon into Nick so he can hit something that looked like a Rana. Doyle pancakes Omega and the heels stand tall as we take our final break.
Matt is working out of the DCF corner as we come back. He hits a crossbody to Doyle on the floor, but Davis catches him off the ropes and keeps him away from Kenny. Roll-up by Matt for a two, and Matt gets Kenny into the match. Omega with a thunderous chop to Clon followed by a backbreaker. The cover, but Davis and Doyle make the save. The Bucks are back, corner clotheslines to follow, and they hit stereo bulldogs and high five on the way through. Omega has Clon up, YOU CANNOT ESCAPE, and Omega hits a moonsault and the Bucks hit stereo elbow drops!
The DCF end up on the floor, the Terminator Claps ring through the arena, and that’s a triple Tope Suicida! Clon is returned to the ring, Omega looking Kitaro Crusher, but Clon Matrixes out and hits a Pele Kick! The time of the match has come where everyone gets their shit in, and it ends with Doyle eating a triple SUPERKICK! V-Trigger to Doyle from Omega, and Kenny has the big man up! One-Winged Angel to Doyle, and the Elite reign supreme!
WINNERS: THE ELITE, THE THE ELITE!
TIME: 10:20
THOUGHTS: Like the Elite were losing here in their 100th reunion. At least they faced more serious DCF members than the United Empire did at least.
RATING: ***1/2
Post-match, The Elite celebrate, but here comes more Don Callis Family members to launch an attack. Archer sets up the Bucks for a double chokeslam through the tables, but Adam Copeland is here! He is overwhelmed, and Christian Cage walks out. He takes his time getting to the ring, but he gets in and he goes after everyone in the ring. He kicks Baretta in the dick, but the Bucks are back and they “accidently” superkick Cage! They try to explain the situation to Copeland, but he shoves them. Mark Davis is back, and he mauls all of them. Everyone fights out of the ring and up the ramp.
Omega is left in the ring, and he grabs a mic, but here comes Will Ospreay! Will wants whatever Kenny was going to say to him in the back to say to his face right now. Instead of engaging with Ospreay, he calls for security to come out and remove Ospreay. Two guys come out and escort Ospreay up the ramp, but Omega keeps talking mad smack to him. He ends it with a comment about Ospreay’s young son, Ospreay stops, and says he is going to kick Omega’s ass. He slides into the ring and takes Omega to the mat, but the security holds on to him. This allows Kenny the chance to hit a V-Trigger. He chucks the security out of the ring, and he tells Osrpeay there is one lesson left to teach him. He calls him a son of a bitch and HITS A ONE-WINGED ANGEL TO OSPREAY THROUGH THE TABLE! Kenny has the crazy eyes and medical staff, the MVPs of the show, check on Ospreay. And with that, we are done!
