CM Punk On ‘Bringing the Best Out’ Of Roman Reigns In WWE Raw Promo, Talks AJ Styles’ Retirement

CM Punk says that Roman Reigns had a great promo on Raw — and points out that it’s just another example of him bringing the best out of someone. Punk and Reigns shared the ring on Monday’s Raw as Reigns announced he would be facing Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42.

In the segment, Reigns delivered a passionate promo about how much he hates Punk for trying to tear down WWE after he left, and then how he tried to take everything from Reigns when he returned years later. He said that he hated Punk which was why he wasn’t to take Punk’s Title. The World Champion weighed in on the promo, his match with Reigns and more in a quick appearance on The Pat McAfee Show You can see the highlights below:

“So, we’re here now. I wasn’t sure he was going to pick me. I thought he might pick Drew, because I do legitimately believe Drew is the easier choice. But where I’m at right now, I got him exactly where I want him. He picked me. I got under his skin, he’s emotional. And we all know, those those emotional Samoans, they can’t control themselves.”
