CM Punk Comments on John Cena Classic & Worlds Collide Next Month: ‘I’m Gonna Work Both Shows’

As previously reported, WWE and The Walt Disney Company announced an expanded partnership that includes holding the John Cena Classic and an Avengers: Doomsday-themed WWE Worlds Collide Event on December 14-15. Both events will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and it looks like former WWE Undisputed Champion CM Punk is keen to work on both shows.
Commenting on the news on WWE’s Instagram account, CM Punk wrote, “I’m gonna work both shows 🔥.”
Worlds Collide is scheduled to feature Superstars from WWE, NXT, and AAA. Additionally, WWE Wrestlepalooza 2026 is also scheduled for December 12, and the event is being held in Perth, Australia. So it might be difficult for Punk to work multiple shows that week.
Cody Rhodes has already been announced as the first participant in the John Cena Classic.
