CM Punk and Roman Reigns had one more back and forth on the mic before WrestleMania 42, acknowledging their envy of each other on WWE Raw. The main event of Monday’s show saw the two have their final promo segment before they compete for Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday.

The segment started with Reigns coming down to the ring and getting acknowledged before Punk came out. Punk stood on the announce table and said that Reigns’ show-opening video felt like a political smear ad. He got up on the apron and said that he hated Reigns because he envies him, noting that this was all he ever wanted growing up and that he was jealous of how it was handed to the Tribal Chief.

Punk added that he hated Reigns’ being champion for 1,316 days because he knew how hard Reigns worked to be that good. He said he hates that number and how many times Reigns has main evented WrestleMania. He also apologized for using the name of Reigns’ father Sika “in vein” in his promo a few weeks ago and apologized, then said that he hated the fact that he envied how Reigns was born into a dynasty before talking about his long road to WWE.

Punk concluded by saying that he hates having to share anything with Reigns before noting that he will still have gold over his head at the end of their match at WrestleMania.

Reigns then said that he hated Punk mainly because of Punk’s relationship with the fans and hopes that fans chant for him for 10 years after he’s gone. He acknowledged that no one can take that from Punk, but said Punk’s time was up and he had months to be relevant as World heavyweight Champion but did nothing with it. He said that on Sunday it won’t be “And Still” but instead “And New” at the end of their match.

You can see highlights from the segment below. WrestleMania 42 takes place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
