Cody Rhodes Tops PWI 500 for Second Year in a Row

Pro Wrestling Illustrated revealed this year’s PWI Top 500 Wrestlers, with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes topping the list for the second year in a row. Here’s how the Top 10 panned out:

4. Hangman Adam Page
5. Hirooki Goto
6. Jey Uso
7. Swerve Strickland
8. Seth Rollins
9. Mistico
10. Will Ospreay
The PWI Top 500 bases its criteria on in-ring achievement, influence, technical ability, competition, and in-ring activity. The evaluation period was August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025. During that time frame, Cody Rhodes was still in the midst of his first WWE Championship run, which ended at WrestleMania 41 against John Cena. Cody Rhodes regained the WWE Championship shortly after the PWI Top 500 evaluation period ended at SummerSlam 2025.
