We’ve got at least three big matches here tonight, and we’ll see Roman Reigns face off with Seth Rollins heading into their big match on Night Two of SummerSlam 2026! We’ll also have a weigh-in for Brock Lesnar & Oba Femi heading into their Hell in a Cell match on Night One. I don’t know the purpose of a weigh-in a few nights before a match with no weight limits, but people don’t ask me these questions.

14,416 WWE fans are on hand! Hell in a Cell is hanging over the ring! Oba Femi is WALKING, as is Brock Lesnar!
Oba Femi enters the Cell and Adam Pearce asks him to stand on the scale. Adam Pearce announces that Oba weighs 302 pounds, then introduces Brock Lesnar. Brock & Paul Heyman make their way to the Cell-enclosed ring. Michael Cole & Corey Graves are our hosts, and Brock begs off from the whole weighing thing and getting into the cell. Paul informs us we have a slight change of plans. Brock is the most successful athlete in combat sports. Brock has never been defeated in Hell in a Cell, a streak that will never be broken. Paul says Brock weighs 303 pounds. Brock says he’ll see Oba at SummerSlam, bitch. Oba says he’s coming for Brock. Oba starts beating security folks in the ring. A Fall From Grace for some poor fool.
We continue a look at the saga of Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins.
Roman Reigns exits his vehicle along with assorted members of the Bloodline.
Non-Title Match: Akira Tozawa & Otis vs. Bron Breakker & Austin Theory (w/Logan Paul & Maxxine Dupri): Alicia Taylor still calls Akira & Otis Alpha Academy, but Akira is still wearing Maxxine’s t-shirt so there are no Alphas to be seen there. Austin & Otis start. No, Bron tags in. Bron runs into Otis, no give. The second time ends with Bron on the mat. Akira tags in, gets sent into the corner and Theory tags in. Maxxine trips up Tozawa and Theory kind of takes advantage before we go to commercial.
We come back to see Bron working Tozawa over. Military press into a gutbuster gets two. Bron puts his straps down before charging into the corner and missing Tozawa. Theory tags in and Otis tags in. Elbow, front slam, splashes in the corner, Caterpillar splash onto Breakker, Tozawa splashes Theory on the outside, sentons Theory in the ring. Otis gets sent into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Breakker hits the 23 mph spear on Tozawa for three.
Winners: Bron Breakker & Austin Theory (5:24 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: **
A thing that needed to be done to get the Vision past the Alpha Academy thing, hopefully. I still feel that Breakker should be above this sort of stuff, but it is what it is.
Otis saves Tozawa from the post-match beatdown, his attempt to wipe Theory out is thwarted by Maxxine and Bron spears him down. Theory hits him with a chair after because we need to get Theory over here.
JACKIE REDMOND is with LA Knight. He’s paranoid since everything he said would happen happened. He’ll take care of business on Saturday and that’s just a fact of life, YEAH.
Raquel Rodriguez tells us that Sol Ruca got lucky two weeks ago. Sol Ruca says she’ll beat her again. They train backstage.
Jimmy Hart is the first celebrity at ringside introduced that I recognized. Still looks like he did in 1992.
We see a video package about Chad Gable’s promise to win the Intercontinental Championship years ago, which set him on a spiral that led to the El Grande Americano stuff. He promises to represent Minnesota as the man he was always meant to be.
Then we see a video package about IYO SKY promising to beat Liv Morgan again.
Je’Von Evans vs. Rusev: Rusev works Evans over in the corner. Rusev hits a big clothesline, then Evans hits some kicks, Rana and a dropkick send Rusev outside. Rusev fires back, hits a fallaway slam that sends Evans outside. Rusev gets kicked into the timekeeper’s area. Evans tries to take advantage, doesn’t work, Rusev sends him with a fall away slam. Evans fights back and sends us to a commercial I can actually see.
Rusev fires back in the ring. After some offense he misses a splash. Evans fires back, but gets sent hard into the corner as Rusev barks into the camera when we can’t hear him. We go back full screen, Rusev maintains control with some shots from that “bear like man”.
Evans kicks and stomps Rusev in the corner. Evans finally gets to hit a dive on Rusev. Immediately afterwards, we get a Macha kick for two. Rusev looks for the Accolade, Evans fights out, then hits a Busiaku knee, but gets caught on the OG Cutter, Rusev locks in the Accolade! Evans finds the ropes! Evans avoids the kick, hits a stunner! Evans hits the OG Cutter and that is all!
Winner: Je’Von Evans (11:03 via pinfall)
Match Rating: **1/2
A good win for Evans here, he continues to be a highlight on television and someone we should be looking towards in the future.
After another Reigns/Rollins recap we see Seth Rollins looking in the mirror. I do appreciate the lengthy recap we get for this feud in comparison to other shows where we’re supposed to immediately remember all the things that would allegedly explain the nonsense currently happening.
We are now treated to a Joe Hendry/Danhausen concert. “I believe that YOU ARE CURSED” is the main hook here. This leads to an attack from Ryan Garcia (a boxer) & the Judgment Day.
Penta is happy that Chad Gable has changed and found his way. He’s not fighting for revenge, he’s fighting for his legacy and his people.
We will see Big Cass next week on Monday Night Raw if that video is any indication.
Rey Mysterio vs. ”All Ego” Ethan Page: Some technical wrestling early on, Page hits a shoulder tackle. Rana to Page, Page avoids the 619, Rey fires back but gets sent hard into the turnbuckle. Rey tries to rana Page outside, but Page hangs on and powerbombs him onto the apron. We go to commercial!
Ego goes after the mask as we return. Rey fights out of that and hits a moonsault. Rey kicks Page into the ropes but Page hits the boot to avoid the 619. Rey sends Page into the ringpost. Rana by Rey, some punches in the corner. Rey hits a senton but Page catches him in a powerslam for two. Rey hits a tornado DDT for two. They go up top, Page gets knocked to the floor and ranaed into the announce desk! Page uses the ring skirt to block the 619! Page hits the Egoplex and gets the three count!
Winner: Ethan Page (8:44 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: **1/2
I’m not surprised at all that Rey would give the rub here. Page is exactly the type of worker that he would respect and insist on putting over.
Liv Morgan tells us she’s the Liv Morgan. She cares about her championship, and she insists that IYO SKY is not in her head. She thinks she’s the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time.
Danhausen tells Adam Pearce to put the human monies on a pole. Yep, I also thought that SummerSlam 2026 needed a pole match.
Jimmy & Jey Uso make their way to the ring through the crowd.
After a commercial break we hear from the Usos! Jey runs it back! They run down their opponents and give the warning shot. Solo Sikoa appears in the crowd. He doesn’t see the real Bloodline, so whatever this crap is doesn’t have a chance at SummerSlam. Jimmy reminds Solo that the Bloodline was the best thing that ever happened to him and he should run the plays or else. Solo mocks Jimmy & Jey and wonders why he’d want to go back. Everyone loves where Solo is at! They can tell Roman to kiss his ass. He leads into LA Knight’s entrance. LA wants to talk to us. He tells us how it’ll all come to an end at SummerSlam. LA & Solo remove their jackets and maybe they can end it right now. LA & Solo get the advantage in the ring before Jacob Fatu’s music hits, then the mood changes. Jacob gets LA & Solo, then Royce Keys appears! Royce takes Jimmy & Jey out, then Royce & Jacob stare down. They fire against each other. Jacob gets the Tongan Death Grip on Royce, Solo hits the spike to break it up, then LA hits the BFT on Jacob!
Hell in a Cell returns at SummerSlam, and we see a video package for it.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez: Sol hits an X-Factor early after some back & forth for two. Raquel takes over afterward, Sol gets a near-fall then gets clotheslined. Sol kicks Raquel outside, hits a moonsault to the floor! A cover in the ring gets two! Sol dives onto Raquel in the ring, gets caught for a suplex for two. Splash in the corner, bodyslam by Raquel gets two. Sol fights back after a resthold, Sol trips up Raquel, hits a basement dropkick. Running knee gets two for Sol. Raquel catches Sol on a crossbody, doesn’t lead to much, Sol gets a DDT off the turnbuckle for two. Roxanne Perez is here. Liv Morgan is also here! All kinds of distractions but Sol hangs on. IYO SKY is here and she fights with Liv. IYO hits a bullet train attack on Liv. Roxanne breaks up Sol’s attempt at a Sol Snatcher, and Raquel hits a Tejana Bomb. HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE IN INGLEWOOD!
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez (10:23 via pinfall)

Man, it’s about time Raquel won one of these big matches. The fact Roxanne’s interference helped more than Liv’s will probably help things.
We see a recap of the recent issues between CM Punk & Cody Rhodes.
Roman Reigns’ music hits! After a commercial break we hear from our OTC. After he shouts out Los Angeles, Seth Rollins makes his entrance. He asks LA to acknowledge him. Roman tells Seth he’s an asshole, Seth admits he’s guilty. Seth admits that Roman is a money making machine. One thing Roman will never be better than Seth at is professional wrestling. He owns his ass. Throughout the video packages, Seth has always owned Roman. What will be different? Roman insists he’s the only true Superstar & Champion around here. The whole industry needs him to beat Seth. Seth wants Roman’s family to cry again, to see that their daddy is Seth Rollins’ bitch.
Some fist to face here, Roman on the upper hand! Spear to Rollins! Reigns gets a chair while Rollins is propped up on the ropes again, but he’s cut off by Rollins by a stomp as our live event comes to an end! So long for now!
